The smell of the non-smoking room 208 was terrible. Seems like the carpet has not been cleaned since it was installed. The room is outdated especially the bathroom. The AC’s case is broken.
I will not recommend this place and will not come back here again.
Pro:
Good thing they have elevator and the parking is safe.

The hotel is like motel like quality, the rooms are too dark, most of the rooms smell cigarettes, it wasn't clean, I change 2 times due to rooms were not clean.
I'm not coming back to this place.

Disliked:
The room was dark and had a damp smell to it. It only had one lamp with a broken lamp socket that half dangled out of the wiring. The light bulb didn’t work on one side, so we had to go down to the front desk and ask for one. The lamp shade wasn’t even attached and fell through the base when we touched the lamp. The blow dryer didn’t work. While the bathtub and toilet were clean, there was a new roll of wrapped toilet paper on the floor behind the toilet, very unsanitary!!! Had to go down and ask for more towels. The bathtub plug had been removed so I had to use one of my own clean socks to plug it to take a bath! It took 10 minutes of letting the water run before it became hot. The back of the bathroom door was filthy...Black! Also In the bathroom where the towel rack hung had huge putty filled in holes of different textures and color! The whole bathroom wall of putty spots were never painted over! Just tacky and ugly! The bathroom fan didn’t work well either. the Location... not good and I would not recommend it to anyone! With no visible security but just an old beat up security care, I didn’t leave anything in my car for fear of theft! It has homeless people living outside on the sidewalks by the entrance with trash thrown around! The whole hotel was old and needs serious renovations.

A very basic place stay you get what you pay for nothing special here but it gets the job done for nothing more than a short stay 1 to 3 nights your ok.

Liked- the room was large Nice big fridge
The lobby was under repair, the pool is filthy.
It smells like urine on backside of building and there are
unsavory people demeaning the property.
There were no services, no coffee, food, lobby to sit at anything.
This picture must be some lobby years ago looks nothing like tis in there now not painted, no plants and gloomy

Chose hotel based on price, but won't stay again
Pros:low price, conveniently located to Oakland airport
Cons:improve comfort of the bed, replace the door to the outside, housekeeping to make sure everything is ready for the next guest.
Location:immediate neighborhood was not upscale. We didn't investigate things to do nearby.
bed wasn't comfortable, door to the outside did not close tight, no washcloths provided, too close to the freeway and a liquor store across the street that was open that Sunday night (which I did not expect based on my internet research)

Horrible conditions
The only reason I stayed at this hotel is because it was a last minute travel plans. I arrived at midnight and when I checked out in the am is when I saw the hotel for the dump it really is: broken security lock, cockroaches on the vanity, dirty pool, broken elevator, smell of cigarette in the air......

Extremely poor condition
Entire hallway smells. Carpet in the room is extremely dirty. 10+ bugs in and around bathroom, very disgusting. Looks like towels and pillows have never been washed. No electronic in the room. No wifi in room (only in lobby)
