We stayed at this property for a few days for a wedding. It is located close to downtown Oaxaca. The room was spacious and lovely decorated. Breakfast on the roof top was a great experience. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Cons: There are quite a few stairs to be considered when having mobility issues. In Oaxaca toilet paper can’t be flushed through toilets.

Loved the staff and the hotel. It’s very close to downtown and all the sights you could imagine. Only negative is our room was next to the workers area on the ground floor and very noisy. Staff was amazing, breakfast was delicious and came with a gorgeous view of the city, and my room was perfect for my stay. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Dia de Los Muertos, truly exceptional. I would definitely stay at Casa Mayahuel again!
