Combie Home, stylish 2 bedrooms flat makes you feel like home

Our flat is centrally located at Oban. Only few minutes walk to Ferry and train. 5 Minutes walk to sea front and restuarants. It is round the back of combie street. Front door bears the sign saying Combie Home.

This is a pet and kids friendly property where toys and story books are available inside. We have also got a travel cot and high chair. Pets are absolutely welcome but a small fee of ÂŁ15 per pet per stay.

It is all self check-in and check-out service. We have a lock box to keep the key. A confirmed guest will get the password of the lock box to get the key of the property.

The flat is on the second floor of an old building at Combie Street. It has undergone renovations and now it is of top holiday-let standards.
However we do not own the whole block of building where other parts still look old.

Smart security door bell is in place to keep guests safe.

Sofa bed can be set up upon requested and an extra fee of ÂŁ35.

Apparemment spacieux et proche de toutes commodités

L'appartement est spacieux et sympathique mais comme décrit dans l'annonce l'environnement est vetuste et peu accueillant. Placé en centre ville et proche de toute commodité, trÚs pratique, mais pour nous qui venons de la campagne, le bruit des voitures le matin nous a gené. Néanmoins, nous avons passé un bon séjour.

Amazing Stay In Oban

Great flat, Access is via a small set of stairs at the rear of the property, very spacious and comfortable with lots of storage options. The host was very helpful with any queries we had. And I'd be more than happy to recommend this property. The main bit of Oban is just a few mins walk away and there is a big Tesco and M&S a short walk away. There are several nice bars and restaurants in easy walking distance.

Great Stay for Couples or Families

This is a great little spot in Oban and is close to everything. Perfect for couples or small families. A solo female traveler may be more comfortable somewhere with a well lit entrance in a more populated area. The back alley with no lights or motion lights was a bit unnerving once the sun had set. Oban is a safe enough place but I travel solo often for work and would have not been comfortable here on my own. Our one night stay was perfectly fine regarding the room, amenities, etc.

Modest, clean property

The back entry was a bit dicey. Street parking was a bit dicey. The apartment was clean and large. Nicely outfitted kitchen. Easy walk to the harbor and pubs. The beds need updating.

Good location in Oban

Good location in Oban. Walking distance to everything. Two separate bedrooms and large living area. Great communication from host! Showerhead is not what we’re used to at home. Very small, low pressure. Not high enough to have your head under it which would make hair washing tricky since you’d have to be using one hand to hold the sprayer yourself. Luckily, I washed my hair the night before arriving.

A convenient and clean spot for a stay in Oban

The outer entrance to the apartment does not look inviting, but as soon as you are inside, the flat is light, airy and immaculately clean. It is very well appointed for everything you might need to make you comfy, and very spacious. Good, clean, comfortable beds . Well fitted out kitchen. Would definitely stay here again if in Oban

Great place!

Oban is lovely. This place was lovely. The location, in spite of it being in a kinda non-picturesque building, was great for getting around - very close to everything we wanted to check out in town. Inside, the place was very comfortable and cute. The host was also very cool, easy to communicate with, and responsive.

Seaside cosy

Overall a great spot and nice little apartment. My only suggestion is that the couch and bed need upgrading as they are important. Also the parking directions should simply state “park on the street or across the street”. We parked in the back, not seeing the parking sign that was leaned against the building behind a van hence in the morning we were met by a terse older Scot who was none too happy that we parked there unknowingly. There was also a green plastic glass that apparently was cracked and it leaked but we used a cloth to mop it up. Otherwise a nice stay.

The property was well located for access to town and ferries. The property was spacious and the host was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. The only feedback we had is that some of the furniture and towels could use a refresh such as the mattress in the main room which bows in the middle and the couch in the living room has a rather large divot in the cushion. It is also on quite a busy road so can be tricky with parking but it does quiet down at night. The entrance could use some TLC but overall still provides a good stay for those visiting the area.

Very clean, modern apartment in Oban for our one night stay having come off a late ferry. Host Alice, was excellent at keeping in touch. Access just slightly tricky with dogs but pleased to be allowed to have them in the apartment.

Immaculate property and truly excellent communication from the host made our short stay even better. It’s close to all local transport snd we enjoyed this friendly town. The flat is noisy as it’s on a busy street. I had earplugs, so not a problem for me. Highly recommend.

Very homely

We only stayed for one night as a stop gap between other places but I wish we’d been able to stay longer. Alice’s flat is so warm and welcoming. It was perfect for us, had everything we needed for our toddler and our teenager which is a hard task. Alice was flexible with the check in and check out times which was a lovely gesture. The flat itself had lovely views over the town of Oban ras it’s on the second floor over the shops, it’s also very close walking distance to the main shops and the ferry terminal. Great location and had everything we needed for our stay.

The location (walking distance to the ferry) and flat were great: plenty of room for the three of us. We also really appreciated the nearby parking and the clear instructions on how to use it.
