Update 2 bedroom / 1 bath condo in Summerwinds. New mini-split AC with units in each bedroom added in 2021. New living room furniture in 2021.
Unit is only 5 blocks to the beach, boardwalk, and Jolly Roger Amusement part. From the balcony, you have a nice view of the bay. There is a swimming pool, and 2 off-street parking places available.
There is Roku TV and wifi internet, as well as a washer and dryer in the unit. There are 2 full size beds and one queen size bed.
All kitchen utensils are provided and all appliances are provided. All you really need are linens and towels.

Nice quiet part of town.But didnt like that fact that we wasnt allowed to do or sit or barely do anything on the balcony and its a long walk.to the beach specially for anyone older but the owner bill was really nice.

Strict but fun

Overall, the actual property was perfect for our senior week. The only issue we had was the strict rule of allowing only 6 people in the condo. While we had 6 people in our house, no extra guests could enter, which was a little annoying but the owner is an amazing person. I’d definitely recommend.

Perfect Condo

Our stay was really nice. Everything is as advertised and the walk to the beach was very short. The condo was clean, with TV, washer/dryer etc and my communication with our owner was pleasant! Would return, with family not friends. The only unpleasantness has nothing to do with the owners of our condo or the condo itself, it was who I assume to be the property manager. There is some woman there who came out to the pool as soon as we went one day and sat there to watch us. A friend in the area stopped by to say hi on his walk and we were scolded for having 6 people already at an empty pool. She was extremely rude and hostile, making assumptions when we did not even break any rules. One of the security guards let us know they were quitting due to her horrible treatment of people and that she simply hates young people for no reason, and watch the cameras for assumed indiscretions 24/7. On one hand I found it condescending (no pun intended), but on the other I pitied their seemingly miserable life.

This property was exactly what it looked to be. We had 5 adults so 1 bath was a bad choice on our part! No other issues. Had a great extended weekend. Bill, the owner, was very quick to respond to the questions I had prior to going.

Ok but could be better if they put money back into property

We were told 2 days before our trip that the AC units in the bedrooms and living room cannot run at the same time. There was a musty smell throughout the whole unit. The couch and recliner were broken. Sand was all over the couches and we didn't go to the beach. Paint was peeling on the walls. For the price the unit would be so much better if they fixed some things up.

Place was in good location. Pool feature was great. A/C subpar. Bedrooms were not comfortable for us without pedestal fans. A little run down, but functional. Kitchen was biggest disappointment-had a very foul odor.

Great place!

The condo was a great location. Parking was easy. It was very quiet and peaceful. And the pool was surprising large. We had no complaints the condo is exactly how it is described. My kids also couldn't stop talking about how comfy the living room furniture was! Thanks for the great hospitality!

Condo is very nice, updated. Wish it was closer to the beach. Air worked well with use of fan.

Nicely remodeled condo, hard to hear TV due to location of air conditioning unit. Use fan in hallway, it helps.

The place was great and we enjoyed it. The only thing that wasn't 100% was the air conditioning. I don't believe there is must Bill can do about that because of placement of the air conditioners. Other than that the place was great.

Too small for us

I wanted to save a buck! Wrong so very wrong. As we opened the door the smell just hits you. Not sure what the smell is but it permeated our bedding and to this day our pillows still smell. Some of the features of this condo we did not like were; the AC unit, the only one for the entire unit is over the TV, you will need to turn the tv up extra loud. The AC does not cool the bedroom down the hall to the left even with the fan. The kitchen was so small that we had no place to put the groceries we purchased and your lucky to get two people in there. The microwave at the time was not working and kept tripping the breaker. This posed an inconvenience. The kitchen could have included a few more essential items to cook at home. The pool looks like an afterthought just dug into the driveway. Some shade at the pool I am sure would allow people to stay longer. There are no umbrellas or shade to get out of the sun. On a positive note, great location!
