Iâve never had such lack of response from an owner/management company. First the lock to the unit would not unlock. The dead bolt would catch when trying to open and we could not gain entry. Speaking with the cleaning staff, this was an ongoing issue that had not been addressed. No call back from the local management company. The cleaning staff had to give us a physical key from the lockbox, who was extremely nervous they would get in trouble, but there was no other way to access the unit. At the 4pm check-in, the unit had not been cleaned. At all. We rolled with it and went directly to the beach after being asked to put all of our belongings on the furniture so it could be cleaned. When we returned it was clean, but no sheets for the pull out sofa for my daughter. I requested them and ZERO response from the local team. For a weekend trip and no call from the management, just automated text replies, this isnât ok. No sheets were ever provided for the pull out sofa. The pillows in the closets had no pillowcases. For a âwell equipped vacation rental,â it had no cutting board, ice cube trays or wine opener. When checking out, the only actual response from the management team was to where to put the key, AFTER I had contacted them, because I didnât want the cleaning service to get in trouble for giving it to us in the first place. The location was fantastic. So close to the beach. Easy access and parking, but the management team was sorely lacking any in their services.
An older "almost" well-kept property on the ocean side of Coastal. The bedding is low grade, the bathrooms are low grade, the kitchen and dining room is low grade, the furniture is low grade, the view is nonexistent. It has a couple of pretty electric fireplaces and it's a quick walk to the beach--those are the only two redeeming qualities. The door entry code stopped working the second day, but thankfully we received a quick solution to access a key from the prooerty manager. I wouldn't stay here again.
I love the place, itâs exactly how itâs listed. The only negative is that we had a time finding the place because thereâs no visible number or name of the place, and we had to use the keys because we couldnât get in with the codes that was given.
Location was decent especially for the cost but keypad didnât work upon arrival spent 45 min baking in the sun to get door open. Management was quick to respond however. Closet doors falling off. Shower head fell off and busted me in the head annd foot. Then I got power sprayed rest of shower. Management offered to help but Husband fixed it . Only half the lamps or lights worked so the place seemed dark. No ice machine- that stunk. But huge awesome deck! for the cost it was worth it I think.
The place was okay for a weeks stay but, had to call management twice because couldnât get tvâs to work. Which wasnât totally resolved when we left. The property was not properly cleaned my daughters feet were black just walking on hardwood floor. Appliances put away dirty. Not enough kitchen cookware!
The property was fine... HOWEVER, I should have gone through the property management company directly since you both charged fees. VRBO reeled me in, but never provided anything after. VRBO collected the initial payment (Half). I was under the impression that the second half would be charged automatically. It wasn't so I almost lost the rental.. All other communication was from Vacasa (which was insufficient at best) I will not be renting anything through VRBO again)
After we checked in the first day, we were locked out that evening due to a broken lock. We could not reach anybody through Vacasa, and their fist response to my request for emergency service about our lock was the following day in an email where they asked me if I was using the key code??? We did end up getting back into the place and the lock was fixed/replaced the following day, but we never heard from any management, and we have made several requests for some kind of compensation/refund for what happened and have been completely ghosted by the company. Beware of these properties.
