Enjoy both sunrises and sunsets as you sit back and enjoy the view from Century I 1907, an updated, two-bedroom, two-bathroom, oceanfront condo in North Ocean City (99th Street). This two-story, 1,177-square-foot property offers a unique experience in that it has balconies and floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides of the condo for beautiful views of the ocean and the bay - great at sunrise and sunset!
The open-concept living area is cozy and relaxing, with a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a living room with comfortable furniture and a flatscreen TV. Step outside from the living room onto the oceanfront balcony for cool sea breezes and panoramic views of the ocean, the beach, and the entire Ocean City coastline stretching out in the distance. Both bedrooms are located on the bay side of the building and have balconies with beautiful bay views. Additional amenities include central AC, a private washer/dryer, and an indoor pool, sauna, and fitness room in the building. Just take the elevator downstairs and you're steps from the ocean and sand!
Guests of Century I have access to great facilities that include an indoor pool (open seasonally), an oceanfront sun deck, and a fully renovated gym with a sauna. A variety of restaurants and attractions are conveniently located within walking distance, including Liquid Assets, Trattoria Lombardi's, and the Ocean City Public Library. You'll also be a short drive or bus ride from the famous Ocean City Boardwalk on the south side of town and beautiful Northside Park up at 126th Street - the host of fun events throughout the year as well as a fishing/crabbing pier, an expansive playground, and peaceful walking paths.
Things to Know Please note: During the off-season, After Labor Day and before Memorial Day the building will be doing balcony reconstruction work. Construction will take place on weekdays, and guests may experience some intermittent noise during this time. A non-refundable $50 building administration fee is due immediately upon check-in. The fee covers guests' use of all amenities plus parking for 1 vehicle. A second pass is $10 a night or $70 a week. Towing is enforced with vehicles without a pass. Charges occur and parking permits are used from May 1 through October 31. Off season, parking is not charged nor are parking permits handed out. The indoor pool at the Century1 building does not open until Memorial Day weekend and closes the first of October. The Century 1 bulding includes climbing steps to reach your vacation rental. Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.
Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 1 vehicle. This rental is located on floor 19.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the âDamage Waiverâ). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
Nice place but very difficult to communicate with Vacasa
We were given incorrect information on where to pick up the key by multiple people and it was very frustrating. They (Vacasa) provide an incorrect address to pick up the key and when you call, you are speaking to someone not even in the area. The place was ok, older and you could tell but was decent for the few nights we were in town. The balcony over the beach was the best part. Itâs quite a ways from the Ocean City boardwalk.
Overall great condo views were awesome and condo was very clean, issues we had were the air condition was locked on 74 and management company had hard time contacting owner then the owner set air by Wi-Fi at 70 which still left the upstairs at close to 74 and very muggy, the issue was fixed by management on day 2 so not too bad, I was told pre checkin that additional parking passes were available onsite but not the case donât plan on extra spot which was an inconvenience, but overall a very nice and clean condo in a good area
The view was nice, the place was near the beach, and it was clean. However, there were three basic flaws that we should not have had to deal with for the price: (1) The mattresses were hard as rocks and sagged in the middle. They clearly should have been replaced years ago. (2) There was no Wi-Fi for the first two days (out of five). It turns out they gave us the wrong network and password in the welcome email, and it took them two days to give us the correct ones. This was especially problematic because both my wife and I had to work remotely and were counting on W-Fi. (3) Most inexcusable of all, the tap water was foul -- it smelled strongly of mildew and gave one of us gastrointestinal issues. I've literally had better water in developing countries. For what we paid, we expected better. Avoid this building, and particularly this unit, at all costs.
The views of both the ocean and bay were spectacular - giving us the ability to seen both sunrises and sunsets. Checking in procedure was not ideal as no information provided prior to our flight; in fact, we had to email and call before the details were provided the 'day of'. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early due to a medical issue; and even though we sought out the individual on-call to let them know we were leaving, we had no instructions. The instructions were sent to us well after we were already back home. As far as the place though, it was clean and the views on both sides made it a huge joy. THanks for sharing the place with us.
This listing was exactly as advertised. Very clean. Fully stocked stocked kitchen. Perfect location right across the street from grocery shopping and plenty of dining nearby. The only hang up was the fitness room. You have to be 18+, but if you're not interested in the fitness room, I give it 5 stars.
We were very pleased with our Condo. Spacious, updated and clean! Having two floors allowed for privacy and more room! We had an amazing stay, highly recommend!
