Townhouse by the sea
This was our first family vacation. Our adult daughters met us there, and we came in with our grandchildren, ages 10 and 4. The townhouse was listed at accommodating up to 15, but at just the 7 of us,( their spouseâs couldnât make the trip), it was just right, I canât imagine 15 people being in the house. The communication between the host and myself, was on a timely manner. The cleanliness, I had to rate it at a 3, although it wasnât filthy, it could have been better. Under the king bed, was old hair ties, cup lids, lint. And the 2 full beds( in the kids room), the mattress needs to be replaced. My oldest daughter, who is career military, wanted to sleep with the kids, cause she hardly sees them, when we pulled the bedspread off to make the bed, I was sickened by the amount of urine stains and it did not have a mattress protector on it. She was a good sport and said she wouldnât think about it. The other full bed wasnât stained like that, but did not have a mattress protector on it. The 4 year old had that bed. The 10 year old slept on the top bunk, because of my age and mobility, I could not see the condition of that mattress. As far as I could tell, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything one would need to cook. We did not cook or use anything that was supplied with the house. We ate out every day. We brought snacks to settle the kids down for bed. Everyone loved swimming in the pool! That was a blessing.
