The motel was great for what it was. You know you aren't paying for a 4 Star hotel, so you can't expect that level. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, there was a pool and plenty of parking. That was all I needed and expected!

We only spent one night as we were in town for a wedding. Our room was very neat and clean. The decor was beachy cute. The staff was excellent. We were greeted by a very friendly front desk. Clothing items were left in the room after check out and the front desk called us and held the items. Overall great experience! Wish we had more time to spend there and hope to return again.

Charming Ocean City Motel

Ocean City is a historic seaside destination. The Shangri La fits the historic identity. Charming place and staff. The property is a bit dated, but very fair value for money and the property is kept up.

It is a clean and friendly place. Pool is very clean. However , location is bit too close to the road- you will hear vehicles so if you are light sleeper- it may bother you. But for the price- it is a good stay

Great service

I will by no means call this a five star resort, however the staffs attentiveness and personality was excellent and for the price it was above expectations. I would suggest this for a 4 member family on a budget or a couple just looking for a place to lay their heads.

This is our second year in a row staying here. So clean! Spacious rooms. Full size fridge that comes in so handy. Pool is well taken care of and plenty of chairs for sun. Walk to the beach is a breeze.
