The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.
A well-rested vacation awaits at this charming, family-friendly condo just steps away from the beach! It's well-equipped with everything you and your guests could ever need to spend an unforgettable time together. It is upgraded with granite countertops, Keurig and drip coffee makers, painted cabinets, a range hood in the kitchen, a vanity, mirror, a light bar, air-conditioning, and a keyless lock system.
Things to Know The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed. The indoor pool will be closed beginning Monday, March 2, 2026 through Friday, March 14, 2026 for our annual maintenance. The pool will reopen on Saturday, March 15, 2026. The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers. Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds. Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the âDamage Waiverâ). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page.
Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
The building is very outdated, location is great. Elevators were so so slow. The deli and shops downstairs were beyond gross, and the food was overpriced and disgusting. Unit was clean enough but not as clean as I would have wanted. On the last night of our stay the fire alarm went off randomly at 4am and the entire building was evacuated. No explanation, no credit, no apology from Vacasa.
Everything from booking to checking out was excellent. The only thing I could complain about was the hot water in the shower didn't last too long and the blinds were not working properly. I would definitely come back..
We really enjoyed Golden Sands 711. Met family there who stayed in another unit and our college boys loved the location. Golden sands has a lot to offer and it was perfect for our group. The place was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend!
