Lovely Beachfront condo in upper Ocean City, MD
This property was a truly lovely condo right on the beach on the Ocean City/Fager's Island border. The oceanfront deck was a real plus. The king size bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of dresser and closet space for 2. And although the condo is small it was perfect for the 2 of us. The kitchen was pretty well stocked but the cookware and utensils could use some updating. There was only one frying pan and it was well worn. The knives were rather dull which presented a bit of a challenge. The placement of the refrigerator makes it impossible to use a good portion of the kitchen counter top efficiently. The living area was lovely as well and was decorated perfectly for the beach. There were TV's in the living room and bedroom but we did not use them so I have no idea if they worked or not. For the most part the condo was visibly clean upon arrival with a few exceptions. There were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling near the sliding doors in the living room and the woodwork behind the bedside table and bed was very dusty. I dropped something behind the bedside table which caused me to look behind the table as well as the bed which is how I found all of the dust as well as several other items (a paper cup, hair band, tissue and other items). It had obviously been a while since furniture was moved to clean. Upon our arrival we found that the dishwasher was full and had not been emptied. We ended up having to put a very full load of dishes away our selves and the glass tables on the deck were in great need of cleaning which we did ourselves as well. That being said the visible parts of the condo were very clean. The sinks, tub, toilet, counters, kitchen table and living area were are dusted and clean and we were supplied with a small starter set of everything we needed for our first couple of days (paper towels, garbage bags, dish and dishwasher soap, soap etc.) This was a nice perk. All in all, it was a very nice place to stay and I would definitely recommend it for a couple or like us, a couple of friends on a girls vacation.
