*The host is quick to communicate when you reach out.*A couple of notes: -The kitchen is minimally stocked. Plenty of utensils and glass ware, but not a lot of plates and serving dishes.- STAIRS. This unit is on multiple levels. If you want to get to the roof, you have to climb multiple flights of stairs.- The garage is tight. They aren't kidding when they tell you the garage will accommodate two compact cars. We barely got our Camry in.Everything considered, we had a lovely stay. The view is beautiful and the place is comfortable. It is everything we could have asked for.
This property served as an ideal accommodation for my friends and me during our recent vacation. Location is exceptional and the rooftop seating area was a particular highlight. The bedrooms would benefit from the installation of blackout curtains, as the natural light is quite strong in the early morning hours. Additionally, the presence of a functional outdoor grill would have further enhanced our stay. That said, these are minor considerations in an otherwise excellent property. I would not hesitate to recommend it to future guests.
Nice property. Great location easy walk to OS hot spots and the Strand.2 items of feedback - a) if the grill worked on the roof that would be super nice, b) the other units should have instructions that their guests should park closest to the garage doors if they don't fit in the garage. Seems obvious but a couple were challenged with that logic...
When I arrived, it smelled musty like mildew or mold. I informed the property manager immediately. She told me to open the windows and to stay and give it a chance. My son started getting congested and coughing. On the fifth night, cold rain water came up from under the carpeted stairs when I stepped down. Then I looked down and saw the black mold along the wall and behind the baseboard, which was detached.I informed property manager and VRBO immediately. VRBO told me it was a health and safety hazard and that the property manager must take action within 4 hours. They didnât. They waited for me to leave to go to the property. They refuse to give me a full refund and think I should pay to stay in an uninhabitable property. They didnât come to examine the property when I said my son was getting sick and there was a smell of mold. With water coming up from carpet, itâs rotting the stairs if they are wood. Someone will get hurt. Thereâs additional fees racked onto the reservation because itâs a third party listing from a company. Check in information had to be requested. The parking situation was not clear. Youâre supposed to park in a spot that has a no parking sign 15 feet away. Thereâs no garage door opener provided. Only compact cars are going to easily park in garage. Furniture and drapes were dusty. Thereâs a lack of space in bedrooms and one of the bathrooms for belongings. Mirrors in bigger bathroom are hung too high to see reflection.
