The General Store is a fully remodeled 4 bed, 1 bath home perfect for family vacations or group gatherings. This is Side A of the waterfront duplex, it features an oversized living room with an 85" TV, plenty of board games, and a high-top bar & dining table for gathering. Outdoors, enjoy shared amenities including a large deck, fire pit, tables , dock, and swing. Two kayaks and two SUPs are available for fun on the river. Just 30 minutes from Lambeau Field with local limo services for game day.

Oconto is a family friendly small town "Up North" almost completely surrounded by water. We have the Oconto River flowing through the town into Lake Michigan.

The General Store – Side A of the Duplex

Overview:
Side A of The General Store is a fully renovated 4 bed, 1 bath home with a spacious open-concept layout that once served as the town’s general store. The oversized living and dining area features an 85" TV, large sectional, dining table and high-top bar table, providing plenty of space to relax and entertain.

Outdoor Spaces:
Shared outdoor spaces include a large deck, fire pit, multiple tables, dock, and swing. Two kayaks and two stand-up paddleboards are available for guests to enjoy on the water. Bring your boat and tie it up at the dock—just minutes from Lake Michigan and a short boat ride to Door County.

Kitchen:
Open-concept kitchen with dining table for 6, bar seating for 6, refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven, dishwasher, and all cookware needed to prepare a gourmet meal.

Living Room:
Oversized sectional with ottoman (can double as extra sleeping) and a 85in flat-screen TV.

Bedrooms:
Bedroom 1: Queen bed
Bedroom 2: Queen bed
Bedroom 3: Two full-size bunk beds (4 beds total)
Flex Bedroom 4: Pull-out couch (doors are sliding barn doors and this room also has the sliding patio doors that walk out to the deck

Deck & Backyard:
Deck: Patio table for 6 with tons of extra chairs and private charcoal grill (each side has its own grill and its own patio table on the shared deck).

Backyard: Shared fire pit with river views, shared boat dock for fishing or tying up boats, kayaks/paddleboards, and oversized shared parking for up to 12 cars tandem parked (additional free street parking).

Location & Activities:
Located in the heart of Oconto on the river—perfect for river floats, fishing, Packers games, little League tournaments, and exploring 26 sites on the National Historic Registry.

Extras & Local Services:
Bucky's Limousine Service: transportation to Green Bay, Marinette, and surrounding events.
Oconto Water Fun Rentals: fishing and pontoon boat rentals.

Shared Spaces & Guidelines:
* Shared deck, dock, and outdoor spaces.
* Please tandem park straight in toward the river to allow ample space for the other side of the duplex.
* A train runs nearby every few hours. Horns can be heard outside but are minimal inside the home.
* Must be 25 or older to book.
* Signed rental contract and ID required before booking is finalized (per local licensing requirements).

The best way to get around Oconto is by car or walking. It's about a half mile to the grocery store and about 1 mile to the downtown area with a boutique store called Olive & Birch and an awesome coffee shop/home decor store called The Shop On Main.

Boat parking is available on-site at the property. If you need additional space or prefer a slip closer to the bay, paid boat slip parking is available nearby at Sohrs Shores for $20 per day, located close to the mouth of the bay. This is a great option to skip morning boat launch traffic and head straight out to fish.

At this time, we are not accepting reservations from local guests. Please reach out for approval if requesting to book as a local guest with the reason for your visit.

Pets – Fee is $75 per pet. Please reach out if bringing more than 1 pet. 2 pet maximum. No cats.

This is a pet friendly rental, despite the efforts of the cleaners, we can not guarantee no remnants of dog hair will be found in the property.

Please note, we require a signed contract and identification on file before the booking is finalized to meet local licensing requirements. Must be 25 or older to book.

We have security cameras at the front and back entrances for the safety of our guests and our property. They are triggered by motion detection and record video and sound.
