It’s Ukraine so don’t expect much. Hotel rooms in desperate need of renovation. Front desk staff aren’t particularly friendly.

Very clean and impressive building. Rooms are VERY nice as are the corridors and staircases. Topped off by very friendly and welcoming staff who are patient enough to cope with my poor attempt at speaking Russian!

Great location but in need of remodeling

The best thing about Royal Street Hotel is its location. The hotel is on Deribasivskaya, which only allows pedestrian traffic, and has many restaurants, shops, bars & outdoor cafes. The rooms are definitely in need of remodeling, especially the carpeting. There is no elevator and no restaurant. The positives about the room is it had great A/C, and a big shower with plenty of hot water.
