Adirondack Country Home located Old Forge New York.

This Adirondack home is perfectly situated for any activity you are looking to do. Old Forge has been the Adirondack Mountains' destination of choice for generations of visitors looking for everything from excitement and adventure to peace and quiet.
The Moose River is a popular fishing and kayaking destination within a blocks walking distance. An abundance of restaurants, Adirondack shopping and activities, like Go-Cart racing, miniature golf, railroad rides, two 18 hole golf course and homemade ice cream, are also just a short distance from the home. Water Safari, New York's largest water-theme park is less than 1.5 miles. Old Forge also has a beach for swimming and a local marina with boat rentals. In the opposite direction, less than 1 mile away, is McCauley Mountain Ski Area, which offers scenic chairlift rides. Also close by is the Old Forge scenic rail road.
In addition, this 3 bedroom/3 bathroom home sleeps 8, and comes with a fully equipped kitchen (dishes & pans, electric oven, refrigerator and ice maker, microwave, Keurig Coffee maker, Crock Pot, and a dishwasher) and meals can be enjoyed at a large dining room table that can comfortably seat 8. The living room is warm and inviting, with a large smart TV, and the home is fully equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi Internet. On the Second floor are two bedrooms with 1 king bed and 1 queen bed, along with a bathroom with a toilet, sink and shower. The main floor bedroom has a queen bed along with an adjacent full bathroom. The lower floor has a bonus room with a queen bed, full family room with a large smart TV. There is also a laundry room and bathroom with a toilet and shower. The front porch has a large deck with furniture and a BBQ grill. There is an open fire pit on the rear lawn.
All guests are required to provide their own bed linen, shower towels and all paper products for bathroom and kitchen. Guest must be at least 25 years of age or older, NO EXCEPTIONS. Sorry, no central air condition. Guests are required to leave the camp as they found it. Unload clean dishes from washer and return utensils and dishes to kitchen cabinets. All food removed from refrigerator and freezer. Countertop and kitchen floor are to be free of any food and debris. All bed covers returned and placed on beds. All your personal bath items to be removed. Guests are expected to empty all trash from house and take it with them, Town transfer station 1/2 mile from camp. Bear proof garbage dumster in front of house for weekly pickup, if empty guest can utilize, No additional fee at transfer station. Guests will be charged additional fee of $25.00 per garbage bag left either inside or outside of camp. Fee will be deducted from your security. All outside deck furniture to be returned to deck. BBQ grill to be covered and propane turned off at tank. If tank is left on, additional refill fee from security.
Please remember you are renting our home, this is not a party house. We respect our senior neighbors.

Enjoyable stay! Very close to town, but also quiet. Saw lots of deer. Fit 8 of us absolutely no problem. Was very spacious. Property manager Scott was very helpful and checked in on us. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Family Vacation & Wild Life Guests!

This was our second time staying at this property and we will stay there again. Everyone had a good time and those who have never been to Old Forge loved it. We enjoyed all the wild life that came to visit us every day. (ducks & deer) The last morning there we did see a bear in the back yard.

Family Trip

My family decided to get a cabin in Old Forge for a couple of days while we were visiting more family somewhere else in New York. We decided to pick this house based on the price, location, and amenities. It definetly fit all three. The property managers were in communication a few days before our arrival to explain the check in process. We were even able to check in early! The property and house were clean and neat. If you are looking for a cabin that is cozy and can fit a big family than look no further. It is super close to town as well!

Old Forge home away from home

Great location. Just minutes from Old Forge. Very warm and homey with all the necessities needed for a comfortable stay. Scott and Melissa were super accommodating and responsive. My 6 yr old grandson enjoyed seeing all the deer in the neighborhood. We are already looking forward to visiting again next year. Highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.

8 of us booked this house. There was plenty of room/bathrooms to accommodate us all. Check in was great and so was check out. One of the tenants left their keys and the manager was gracious enough to mail them to us. Would definitely book this place again.

This was our 2nd year at the house. Great location. Easy to walk into town but also quiet at night to enjoy a campfire. House is perfect. Kids camped out in the basement. Adults stayed on main / upstairs. Nice porch / deck. Will definitely be back.

Awesome get away!

My friend group of seven were more than comfortable here. The camp is well kept, well stocked, and well located. It's close to town, close to hikes, bike trails, kayaking, restaurants. The owner Kevin and caretaker Scott, were both so helpful and friendly. They answered question so quickly. We had a fabulous stay.

Nice little getaway

We’ve been coming to Old Forge every summer for 10 years. This was our favorite house. The house was nicer than I was expecting from the pics. The kids loved the basement to hang out away from the parents. The appliances were very updated, which was a nice surprise. The location is fabulous. Private and quiet - but close enough to walk into town every morning to explore the different coffee places.

Great time in Old Forge

We had a wonderful time in Old Forge. Scott called and gave us all the information we needed before we got there. The camp had plenty of room for everyone. It was clean and cozy. The kitchen was stocked with all of the essentials. The outdoor area had plenty of room for the kids to play and the fire pit came in handy. It was a short drive to the town, the playgrounds, shopping and the water park. We throughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks Kevin.

Lost TV Remote!

We have been coming to Old Forge for the past 10 years. Normally we bring our camper, this time we decided to rent a home, and it was a great choice. This property was very nice, clean, and not to far from town. The house was fully stocked with cooking items, dishes, glasses, and utenciles. The property manager was great, and we enjoyed talking to him. We will be booking our yearly trip for next year, and hope to stay here again. Oh, and the tv remote was found,

Annual Old Forge weekend

We are a group of friends (4 couples) who try to get together annually - usually in Old Forge - for a relaxing weekend. We definitely enjoyed the property. Plenty of space, not too far out of town, and able to have campfires outside. Will be interested in doing it again next year. Thanks.
