We really enjoyed staying here. Sitting out on deck was so relaxing. The foliage was beautiful. Leslie has everything you need for perfect getaway. Beautiful home! But I would say not toddler proof. Only because of the beautiful decor. Will definitely stay again when we come to visit family

This is a beautiful home in a cozy woodland setting. We loved the variety of art and artifacts. We had come from three states for my grandson's graduation from Evergreen and all enjoyed our stay. Leslie was an excellent host, very responsive to my several contacts with questions.

Comfortable, roomy home

Beautifully located amidst tall cedars, this 3br/2.5ba home with lovely deck and fenced yard worked very well for our stay near our son’s family. Roomy kitchen and comfortable living spaces were highlights.

Perfect way place to stay

Leslie provided us a wonderful home to rest and relax in. It was awesome. It was comfortable, relaxing, well furnished, and had amenities aplenty. Leslie was fantastic in making herself available during our stay when we had questions. I WILL be staying there when we return to visit family next year or later this year.

This house is cozy and comfortable. We have used VRBO properties many times and this was one of the nicest. The beds are amazing and it was great to hear the rain on the skylights. It would be fun to return in the summer and enjoy the deck and backyard. Thank you Leslie!

We stayed 4 nights here, coming from Michigan for our niece's high school graduation! This home was wonderful! The photos and description are accurate. The only A/C is in the main bedroom; we only needed it for 1 night when there was high temp of over 85 degrees. There were a few glitches, but the owner responded promptly and was able to rectify the issues. We would gladly stay here again when in Olympia.

We rented this lovely, art-filled home over Christmas in order to spend the holiday with our oldest son and his family in Olympia. The house was perfect for my husband and I, and our youngest son and his family (including his 17-month old daughter). The open, well stocked kitchen was ideal for cooking Christmas dinner and having a crib available for our granddaughter made the trip to Olympia easy for all of us. Leslie was also very accessible and provided us with extensive information about the house and contacts if we needed assistance. We will definitely consider returning in the future!

Wonderful, comfortable home

What started as a 25th anniversary trip to visit our son doing an internship on a farm near Olympia turned into a wonderful extended family trip with 2 adult nieces and one husband... and two last minute dogs. The house was perfect for cooking and visiting. We ate on the patio in the back yard every night and enjoyed coffee there in the morning. The kitchen was well equipped and the gas grill was perfect. The beds were very comfortable, as were both showers. The location of the home is ideal - very close to shopping (& probably restaurants, but we cooked all our meals) and close enough to Seattle and Olympic National Park for easy day trips. Leslie was so easy to communicate with, was very accommodating, and made sure we were all set with everything we needed to make our visit from Massachusetts perfect. If we have a reason to visit the area again, we will definitely stay here.

Perfect Family Retreat!

My husband and I just returned from a fabulous three nights at Leslie's home. We traveled to Olympia to enjoy time with our son, his family, grandchildren, and friends. This was the PERFECT gathering spot! There are two separate living rooms to gather, a large table around which we ate and played games, and a huge yard for the kids to run and play. We ranged from newborn to 63 years old and it met everyone's needs! We loved walking on nearby wooded paths. All stores and the co-op were short drives. After leaving, I realized I had left my computer cables and charger. Leslie arranged for those to be shipped to me the same day!! We HIGHLY recommend this warm, cozy, and well-appointed home! We can't wait to return- this will definitely become our getaway "home away"!!

Clean, well appointed, and communicative owner

We were a couple plus two other adult relatives traveling throughout Washington State. The property was clean, had plenty of space, and had enough kitchen utensils and pans for us to cook, and we were able to use the BBQ grill. Two bedrooms were spacious, the 3rd office/bedroom was a little tight, but it met our needs. Beds were very comfortable! The location of the property was convenient for stores, Mt. Saint Helens and Mt Rainier, and within access to Seattle (you are better off driving to Bremerton or another ferry port as opposed to taking I-5. I-5 was bad and it took forever to get to and from Seattle no matter what time of day it was). Though we did not watch a huge amount of TV, there was good TV service with Netflix and Amazon Prime, and also wifi service. Leslie, the owner, checked in a couple of times during our stay, and responded promptly to any questions had.

Place to sleep for family reunion

Every living member of my family (19 people aged 94 to 12) met in Olympia at my younger brother’s house. We picked two rental properties for sleeping purposes. I stayed in this property with my older brother, his wife and son plus my granddaughter and her boyfriend. I am having serious health issues and stayed downstairs alternating between sleeping on the couch and the recliner. We had many early morning (3:30 am) coffee klatches since I was in pain and my older brother and his wife were visiting from Germany. My brother was our barista. I found communication to be excellent. Questions were answered immediately. We had one snaffu (our fault) and it was handled just as quickly. I cannot address cooking since we did none. The artwork is unusual and very diverse. The only down side for me is that some of the furniture is scratched and worn. I would definitely recommend this house.
