Located in the exclusive Squaw Creek subdivision, "Sierra Crest at Squaw" offers luxurious accommodations in one of California's most sought-after destination resorts. With soaring sloped ceilings and an open-concept layout, this inviting ski retreat offers a great place to spend time together, especially after a day of exciting outdoor activities. Start a fire roaring in the hearth and curl up on the couch with a good book.

Upstairs, the great room provides a gourmet kitchen and dining table for 8, all centered around a magnificent river-stone fireplace and grand picture windows that reveal tree-filtered views of the Sierra Nevada range, ancient Ponderosa forests, and lush meadowlands. Just through these picture windows, the expansive deck offers a patio dining for 6 with additional lounge chairs for relaxing outdoors and a gas grill for those must-have BBQs.

Stunning property with different spaces to gather, esp for our group of friends with two little ones. The view from the two patios and the entire main floor is incredible, and the location was wonderful and tucked away but with easy access to Everline.

Other than that, the staff was wonderful to deal with and the house had a good layout. It would have been a nice addition to have access to the Resort at Squaw Creek.

The house was very nice, lots of room for my family of 10. We were all comfortable in our bedrooms and had our own bathroom. It was during the summer and it was a very hot weekend, the house has no air conditioning so it was super hot in the house. We were able to open the windows at night and that helped a little bit. Also the refrigerator does not work and we had to change the temperature a few times to keep things cold. We lost a lot of food as it did not keep it cold the first day and a half. Otherwise, beautiful views, clean house and super close to the venue we were attending a wedding at.

There was a loose shower head, some lightbulbs were out, the bathmats were dirty, some utensils (tongs) were broken, and there was no light in the refrigerator. The paper towels were cheap and we had to buy pepper. These may seem small, but they leave a bad impression considering the location and beauty of the house.

It was difficult to watch the Super Bowl with such poor quality picture. However, if it hadn't been the Super Bowl, we probably would not have watched tv very much. Would definitely stay there again! There are two sitting areas so plenty of space to spreadout. The location was so convenient to both Squaw and Alpine. Also they have a Valet parking sticker for Squaw Resort and guest passes if you want to use the heated outdoor pool or fitness club. The only negatives are that the two TVs in home were small and not HD. Not a problem for me, but my boys were a bit disappointed. The kitchen could stand to have more kitchen towels and pot holders for the renters to use. Also the dryer is not very hot so it takes a long time to get anything bulky dry.
