The property is being remodeled. We had a newly remodeled room, which was very nice, the lobby was underwhelming. We stayed on the second floor, there was no elevator, and no ice machine.
The man who was at the front desk was weird. When asked if he could help us make copies, he made a grand gesture and said, "I know nothing about technology!" He initially was less than helpful about local restaurants, then took us outside and pointed to where we should go. He was there a lot, but we stopped asking questions after a while. We did not get any cleaning twice because by the time we got back to our rooms after lunch, it was not done so we just got clean towels ourselves.
It was a good price for a family at a funeral and the location was good for us. Air conditioner was way too noisy!

Snow removal
Went here because of snowstorm. There wasnt any snowremoval. Evevator was down. Ice machine on our floor didnt work.
It looked like front desk workers parked under front dropoff canopy blocking area for guests. Vlinds in room dont work. Electric. I usually dont put a review good or bad. But this needs to be addreased. Breakfast ok. Bed ok.
There was an overwhelming smell of chlorine and something unpleasant when you first walk in. Noticeable throughout the building. Hot breakfast available.

Cheap stay
Older woman who works day shift is rude to customers and staff. Got to the hotel at 1pm and she barked at me “Check in isn’t until 3!” She begrudgingly looked to see if my room was ready (or acted like she was checking) and said it wasn’t ready yet. The next morning when I was checking out, she was barking at the employees.
Room itself was fine. Only complaint was the shower wall had hair on it and the shower faucet was dirty so I’m guessing it wasn’t cleaned between guests.
