We booked a room last minute for the Iron Bowl & this is what was availableâŠit was okay. Location was good for after the game, for sure. The employee was nice. The room wasnât horrible, but the mattress was stained & it definitely needs updated.
The people in the room next to us had 2 full grown boxers that barked literally from the time we got there until we left. I called front desk within the first 5 minutes of barking and was told she didnât have a room to move me to. There was a room about 3 down from ours that was open and about 6 across the parking lot. All she said was sorry đ
CleanlinessâŠthere was a live roach in the bathtub and whole hand prints on the headboard. I could go on to mention some other opportunities but the LIVE roach was it for me.
First room - toilet wouldn't flush.
Second room - fridge broken.
Third room - gave up and didn't worry that the sink faucet wasn't attached and the tub looked like it had been put together by a high school auto body shop class.
Cheap but you get what you pay for.
Room was awful. There was some sort of growth in the bathtub, not sure what it was but is was dark in color. Bathroom door would not close, tried to wash my hands and the sink knob came right off. Everything that was metal was rusted. There was a crusty substance on the top sheet of the bed. I slept in my car. Terrible experience. Room 111
We came down for the Auburn game. The hotel is OK. It probably needs a facelift for each room. Ours had water damage on the ceiling, oddly sticky floors, no shampoo ( soap only) , no coffee , an electrical outlet that didnt work and probably a few things Im missing.
This motel is old, dated, and has the very basics of a place to stay. Rooms and facilities are dirty, beds are not comfortable, sheets/towels are very cheap. Get what you pay for I guess.
Check in, parking and exterior were basic but fine.
The room was a huge issue.
Bugs crawling on side of bed and same type of bug dead on nightstand.
Immediately exited the room and left for another hotel.
Room was also in terrible condition. Food left in fridge, rust on things, poor upkeep.
This motel has a bug problem. I checked in around 8pm, left around 10pm to sleep in my car. Killed about 3 small roaches and a big fly before running out of bug spray. I immediately went to the store to buy more roach killer. The microwave had built up grime on the door and the fridge was not running cold. There were thick spider webs where the wall and ceiling meet. After I sprayed, another little roach came from under the bed. There was also a small dead bug on the top of the headboard. I felt like moving to another room wasnât satisfactory; the entire motel is probably filthy. I ended up checking out early. Only positive was the front desk clerk and housekeeper were nice.
