We have always had good experiences staying at the Phoenix the room we was in definitely needed updated we even bought cooking pans and cooking utensils because spatulas was all burned up pans wasnt large enough to cook beds was all very uncomfortable pull out couch had a big dip in bed felt like laying on rails and the property has 3 elevators you will wait all day to go up and down definitely not happy with this stay especially after paying 3 grand for the 4 nights there
My husband and I stayed four nights for an anniversry get away. The beach this time of year was perfect minus the jellyfish, with fewer crowds so was much more peaceful. This particular unit offered plenty of room for he and I, especially since it was 2 bathrooms so we each had our on. The balcony is large and offers a great view of the gulf and perdido pass. Ots convenient to "the gulf" reataurant as well as cobalts and several others. The negative side for is was a very firm mattress on bed. The showers are standard tub units and are small. The decor is outdated and could use a face lift. The worst part... A very LARGE roach was crawling on our bed while we were in it!! Thankfully we were able to dispose of it but makes for an unsettled nights sleep. It was noisy next dooe with what seemed like furniture moving around as well As unit above us. We enjoyed the beach and time together, but we are both ready to get back to comforts of our on home and bed.
