LOCATION
The Lagoon Studios are located in the heart of Oranjestad, just 2-3 minutes walking to the public beach (with a beach line of appr 1 mile), the Seaport Mall and the Renaissance Hotel / Mall. From your clean, modern, stylish studio you can also easily walk to restaurants, bars, nightlife, casino's, supermarket and banks. You can walk to public beach in 2-3 minutes, where you can swim, drink a glass of wine, read a book, walk on the beach, so purely relax.

THE SPACE
Lagoon Studios is a new unique concept. Comfortable king size beds, modern flatscreen smart tv's, energy friendly airconditioning units and modern bathrooms with hot water facility. All studios except studio 3 come with a complete kitchen plus working space. Free wifi, free parking on indicated parking areas, free beach towels, free beach umbrellas and free beach chairs available.

GUEST ACCESS
Guests may use the common areas in front of the individual studios. Also the washing machine and dryer can be used for a small additional fee.

INCLUDED
Complementary cleaning included when staying more than 7 nights, wifi, beach chairs and beach towels are included in the rental price.

SECURITY
Lagoon Studios is secured with security camera's and we use a self-check in system, where every customer is provided by email with an unique entry code to have access to the main entrance door and to his or her studio.

HOUSE RULES
- Please always turn off the airconditioning unit before leaving your studio
- Please always close the main entrance door when you enter or leave Lagoon Studios
- Free parking on walking distance
- Max 2 persons can stay in the studio
- Smoking is not allowed in the studio
- Smoking weed is nowhere allowed on the premises of Lagoon Studios

I had an amazing stay at this wonderful location! It’s really conveniently placed close to so many restaurants, the beach, and other attractions—all within a pleasant walk. I enjoyed strolling to several dinners and discovered the island’s only speakeasy. Sharon and Renee, the hostates, were absolutely fantastic—they took the time to walk me through everything, brought me breakfast the morning after my check-in, and even helped me book a special birthday dinner at Elements. They also recommended the ABC Jeep tour, which was incredibly fun. I can’t wait to return for another visit!

We have stayed at the lagoon suites twice before and enjoyed our stay. It is walking distance to two of our favorite restaurants. We also loved Santos coffee shop around the corner. We rented a car so it was a good starting point for our plan for the day. It is the perfect space for a couple.

Wonderful Place

The property and room were spotless. Sharon is a warm, inviting property owner who provided us with a wealth of information and an itinerary for each day of our weeklong stay. Some excellent restaurants within walking distance (Driftwood, Olivia's, Italy in the World). Driving to various beaches was easy and ranged from 15-35 minutes. Part of the surrounding neighborhood looks a bit run down in places but completely safe to walk around at any hour. Cruise ships dock nearby (5 minutes or so) and there are a lot of shops, etc. that cater to them. We found that renting a car was essential for our weeklong stay and desire to experience different beaches and eateries. Can't say enough about how great Sharon was and how efficient her assistant (the "Cleaning Princess") keeps things shipshape.

Didnt know rental was canceled till I arrived

I got an email from VRBO about my stay a few days before I left saying we were all set. Once we arrived outside the rental and asked if we could check in, I got a message saying my rental was canceled. I honestly didnt get any notification whatsoever from the property owner/ manager. I had to scramble to find a place to stay in a foreign country. Had to pop in the Columbian Consulate for Wifi. After a small meltdown and crying and wandering unknown areas, I found a place.

A rare find! Perfect!

If you are looking to stay in Oranjestad or even not, Lagoon Cottages is an outstanding property. It is a wonderfully renovated 100 year old Kunuku cottage now divided into 5 modern suites. Super clean and really well-designed. Only steps from many of the top restaurants, shops, casinos and beaches and central to all the rest. What a bargain considering the nearby Renaissance wanted 4 times as much for a simple room. Sharon’s cottages are much more roomy and modern with efficient kitchenettes with induction cooktops if you choose to cook. And Sharon loves her property and it shows. common areas are beautifully designed with architectural woodworking. Sharon will greet you soon after your arrival and is a treasure trove of insider restaurant tips and secret “locals only” beaches and sights. She might even bring you the best chicken empanada you’ve ever had. YUM! I’m sitting in the airport waiting for my connection home and already planning my next visit to Lagoon Cottages!! Lagoon studios are beautiful, Sharon is a wonderful hostess who goes above and beyond to make your stay in Aruba is one you will always treasure. This is our second three week vacation here and we wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else. The studios are spacious, modern, sparkling clean and have everything you could possibly need including beach chairs, umbrellas coolers and laundry facilities. The location can’t be beat! You are a few minutes walk to the beach, casinos, movie theatre, casinos and shopping. We can’t wait to come back!

Stylish and well equipped appartment

We stayed for a week at appartment 5 Lagoon Studios. Our stay was really nice and the appartment was beautiful and modern. Thanks to Sharron for all the information supplied and Fatima for keeping the appartment so clean. Fantastic location, close to everything,very clean, very welcoming hostess!

Lagoon Studios is everything we wanted and more. Convenient to beaches, bus stops and the best restaurants in Aruba. Sharon has thought of everything from beach chairs, towels and a cooler to an immaculately clean room and property. She has tastefully decorated each room and the exterior is lovely as well. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the morning drinking our cups of coffee and watching people come and go. It' so nice when the owners take the time to greet and visit with the guests. Sharon gave us some great dining suggestions, beaches to visit and sights to see. We highly recommend Lagoon Studios to anyone staying in Aruba. It's the best!
