Enjoy over-sized fun in this Orleans vacation rental! 5 bedrooms/3.5 baths tucked in close to Nickerson State Park hiking trails and delightful Bakers Pond. Ample bedding provides sleeping for up to 18 in this pet friendly contemporary home. Two private king bedrooms and one queen, plus a bedroom with two queens and a large shared room with six twins and another queen. There are comfortable seating areas throughout the house including living room, screened porch, finished basement, a backyard deck and picnic tables. In addition to backyard fun the basement has ping pong, Foosball, air hockey and games. Less than .5 mile to a public beach on Bakers Pond or hike into the park to Higgins Pond, both great for swimming or kayaking. Dogs on a leash are allowed in the park. Convenient to Orleans beaches, shopping and restaurants. Driveway parking for 4 cars. 3 night minimums available with an added cleaning fee. Save the cleaning fee by booking 7 or more consecutive days. Book today! An administrative fee and applicable taxes may apply. Linens not provided. Guests may rent linens or bring their own.

Christmas in the Cape! My family and I had a wonderful holiday at this property. The kids loved the game room and the beds were comfortable. Bring own sheets, towels, paper towels, toilet paper, sponges, trash bags, and coffee.

We stayed here for several days for a family reunion and enjoyed our stay. The home had everything we needed, was spacious, and well appointed. Although the property was not directly on a beach, it was easy to travel to restaurants, the National Seashore beaches and to the bay side. It was easy to arrange for linens to be delivered and picked up. The property manager was easy to reach and patiently answered all of my questions.

The property is spacious and well situated on the cape. We had lots of rooms to enjoy and a great yard. We really appreciated the fact that we could store our bikes in the garage. The kitchen is large and well stocked. Our only negative issues were noise between the master bedroom and the rooms above and no blankets.

Great rental!

We absolutely loved staying here for a week. The house was spacious and was in a perfect location. We loved that we were able to bring our four legged children with us! The lake is just a short walk down the street and we were able to bring the dogs for a nice swim. We will definitely be renting here again!

Review of Baker Pond Road house

The space in the house and the yard were perfect for our family vacation, which included grandparents, adult children and grandchildren. The kitchen was well appointed and the pantry very helpful since we came with most of the food we needed. The location was ideal - close to both Skaket and Nauset Beaches, Shaw's grocery store was just minutes away and we could walk down to Baker Pond. The screened porch was spacious and a favored location for dinner for the adults when the little ones were finally all asleep. Also, our sons and grandsons loved the finished lower level - great for a rainy day! We had a problem with the air conditioning. The house was excessively cooled when we arrived and the controls for the heat/cool were unresponsive to any adjustment. Despite a number of calls to Cape Cod Ocean View Realty, we never had any resolution and ended up opening windows and sliding doors to keep the indoors at an acceptable temperature. It was such a terrible waste of energy! And the responsiveness of the owner/management group was decidedly lacking.

Great accommodations in Orleans!

Stayed with our extended family, including 5 kids, a newborn and 2 dogs. The house is spacious and well-appointed, with multiple bedrooms, bathrooms as well as 2 common areas indoors and a screen porch and large deck outside. We loved it and had a great time-I would highly recommend this property! Property management was responsive and pleasant to deal with. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Great family vacation

We were well pleased with this property. It was very clean and well maintained. The common rooms were set up so that one was available for group TV watching and puzzle working and the other for quiet conversation. The outdoor areas were great with a broad deck, beautiful yard, and an elegant screened-in porch. Our younger adults loved the well equipped game room in the walk out basement. We would be happy to stay there again!

You can feel the love in this place!

Maybe feeling the love in a home isn’t the first quality you look for in a rental house, but maybe it should be! A perfect set up for two families and a set of grandparents. Actually could have done another family or two comfortably. Wonderful provisions in kitchen, board games and outdoor water:beach supplies. We brought our 5month old dog with us and place is so subtly and wonderfully compatible with pets without feeling like you’re living with other pets’s mess. Great proximity to Nickerson state park kettle ponds for swimming, biking and hiking. Learning to love south Orleans for its equidistant proximity to Skaket, Nauset, Orleans center and Brewster restaurants. Already crossing fingers to return next year.
