Absolutely Excellent

Pros: Michelangeli B&B is in an excellent location on a quiet side street, just a five-minute walk from bustling Via Cavour and the Piazza della Repubblica. Better yet, there are three excellent trattorias within a short walk. The B&B is actually three immaculate and tastefully decorated apartments in traditional Italian style. The kitchens have an ample variety of breakfast items. (It’s nice to have that first cup of coffee in your pajamas!) Francesca, the owner, works hard to assure that her guests are comfortable. She laments that her English is limited but her great personality certainly makes up for it. My wife and I speak Italian so we were able to fully enjoy chatting with her. If you arrive by train, Francesca will pick you up as you leave the funicular and will return you there at the end of your stay. We recommend Michelangeli B&B most highly.
Cons: We loved everything. It was great. However, the Travelocity software wants a longer statement so let me repeat that we loved everything. It was great. There was nothing we didn't like.
Location: As noted above, the B&B is on a quiet street, yet near the major tourist sights of Orvieto.
