Brand New 3 Bedroom Beachfront Getaway. Beach just across the road.

Otaki Beachfront Getaway is a brand new 3 bedroom house with a fantastic views outlooking the Tasman Sea.

The Beach is just across the road. We have a outdoor shower for when you come back from a swim. The Surf Club is just down a bit, so you will be safe to swim in between the flags in summer.

We have a big Shade Sail on our huge deck for those who cant be in the sun.

Free Wifi, we have Chrome casting so you can watch anything from your devices. Also Netflix, Lightbox and TV One on Demand.

It is drenched with sunshine, with an enormous deck and flat grassy area to relax and unwind. Here you can enjoy an afternoon BBQ or cosy up beside the fire and watch the flames.

It is just a two minute walk to the nearest convenience store where you can get Fish and Chips, or two minutes to a great coffee shop. With home made food.

The Otaki township is just a few minutes drive and here you will find everything you need, including; Outlet Shops, Cafes, Restaurants, and Supermarkets.

Linen, towels and soaps are provided for your convenience.
There are new Electric Blankets on both Queen size beds. Plus 4 Hot Water Bottles with covers for the 4 single beds. A Cot is available too.
Heated towel rails in both bathrooms.

We have a Webber BBQ on request.

It is so cosy in winter to enjoy the fire.

Also a Golf Course is near by, and Otaki Races, a great gym where casuals are welcome.
Would like to try Surfing Lessons? We have the Surf Club across the road, handy for everyone to be swimming in between the flags.

Maybe horse riding is for you? or Wind surfing?

There are some fantastic walks in Otaki Forks.

The Otaki Library isn't far. Or the Swimming Pool.

There is Fishing and White Baiting in season.

We have WIFi and a Smart T.V. Induction cooker, Oven, Fridge, Dishwasher, Microwave and Washing Machine

Ruth Pretty's School/Shop is only 10 minutes away.

Otaki holds two Internationally renowned Festivals.
Maori land Indigenous Film Festival in March . And Otaki's Kite Festival in February.

Comfortable, modern home with 3 good sized bedrooms and a lovely open plan living space. Limited sea view from house, only when standing, but the beach is just across the road and is great for walking and building sand castles. Couch, beds and sheets are well worn. Loved the games, books and the crockery, excellent sized cups and plenty of plates.

This is a lovely getaway. My cousin visiting from the USA, exclaimed as soon as we opened the door and walked inside," Wow! "This is wonderful, you chose the right place!". " This is lovely"!When you walk in, you find it very inviting, relaxing and very well presented . The eletric fireplace was a welcome addition on the cold rainy nights. My cousin and I really enjoyed staying here. Brenda is a great host and really lovely. I highly recommend this Getaway.

We had an awesome stay. Our second time at Brendas' lovely home. Every aspect of the house is set up for a very comfortable stay across the road from the beautiful Otaki Beach. It has a relaxed beach vibe - we only wish we had more time. Williams Otaki Stay

Very nice accomodations. We visited friends and hiked Kapiti Island. It was a bit challenging to moderate the indoor air temperatures as there is no heat pump and opening the screenless windows required the blinds be lifted to get cross-ventilation. Beautiful brand new house, set back from the street behind another. Great beach access. Thanks to Brenda for accomodating us and for her gracious hospitality.

Thanks so much Brenda for having our guests. They enjoyed the house and everything was great about that. We're sorry that your pillow cases and towels were ruined. One of our guests has a skin condition which he uses medical skincare for and we think in his sleep and washing his body/face etc. it would have stained the set. He paid this money to cover replacements as soon as we received your message and sent his apologies. We did feel that you were overly cautious of us, and we've never felt uncomfortable that way before. This year, we booked 18 houses in Otaki for our festival and all the rooms at Littel Hotel, and you were the only person who asked to meet us to hand a key over. Once you had, so we were technically checked in, you stayed to watch our House Manager set up. This is ok I guess but we felt uncomfortable because it didn't feel like you trusted her/us to be in your home. We just wondered if you did that with every person you let rent your home. And then after our booking we kept getting messages that we needed to pay for two extra guests because you saw that 4 beds were unmade even though we booked your house for 4 guests. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know all that because even though your house was beautiful and our guests enjoyed their stay, those particular things are the reason why we didn't give you a full 5 stars. Thanks again.

Lovely modern non beachfront property

The property is lovely and clean, modern and had toys and games for our kids to play with. There was even a portacot on site. We had booked it under the impression we'd have views of the beach, being called beachfront but it's behind another house so your view is of a shed and another bach you have to go in the driveway to get a bit of a glimpse of the sea. But it is just across the road from the beach which is great and there's a little shop and kids playground about five minutes walk. The shower pressure is amazing and the outdoor shower was a hit with my 5 and 3 year old. The fireplace warms the house very quickly and is a nice touch to the house. Overall a nice property which was fairly kid friendly with us having a 9 month old there as well.

very tidy and clean property in a good location and by what is a fantastic west coast beach, not on beach front but very easy access across road to beach and sea views from living area. Close to good shopping area of Otaki for supermarkets etc.

Lovely weekend getaway

Booked this house for a weekend away with family and friends to celebrate my birthday and do the local Parkrun. House was a perfect fit for us. Well equipped, great BBQ, nice and clean. Lovely to have linen and towels provided. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely autumn stay with spectacular sunsets just across the road at the beach. House was easy to warm and felt clean and just the right sized spacious for us. We really appreciated the luxurious bed and towels, and how incredibly well appointed everything was. eg my son discovered the stash of beach buckets and spades, and the beautifully displayed cupboard full of games and books and was thrilled. Simple things like the outside shower and tap, made coming in from the sandy beach easy. Will be keen to return especially in the summer months. Good communication too! Thank you!

Beachlovers Paradise

A luxurious place and wonderful location so near the beach. Well equipped kitchen for all your cooking needs and very spacious living area. Lovely to have great deck furniture and for a mum the washing machine and great racks were amazing. Big sun-filled decks and amazing sunset views. Very relaxing and a must stay.

Quiet and across the beach

We were only able to stay for a night but wished can stay longer. The place was as it was advertised, it’s clean, lots of space for a family and just across the quiet beach. It will be a good week/end breakaway place.
