Spectacular location, literally 2 blocks from Byward Market, 15 mins walk to the Parliament Hills, art museum and Royal Canada Mint Museum. Room is clean, space is decent, tons of renovations done. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is better than majority of hotels

Rooms were basic, but clean. Ours had a large balcony which was a bonus. Location is great. Easy walk to many bars, restaurants, and tourist areas. Note that there is only parking for 8 in the hotel underground lot so pre-book if you have that option! The included breakfast buffet had a decent selection of choices, well stocked, and good quality. Great value all around.

What a beautiful room with a door leading out to a precious little garden with a comfy chair and table . Loved it . Walked to the Byward market then up to the Hill . Staff was so accommodating and helpful ..can’t say enough good things !

Very clean, great breakfast, close to great restaurants in Byward Market but still walkable to Parliament Hill and University of Ottawa. It's a very cute boutique hotel, highly recommend!

I have a confession, I've been gatekeepering this place for over 6 years hoping nobody would notice how great it really is. Ok, thats a lie. Truth is I recommend The Byward Blue Inn to anyone I know who is traveling to Ottawa. The rooms are smallish but well kept, and always a bottle filtered spring water in the fridge. The rest of the hotel is always clean... and the breakfast. Simply the best bang for your buck or Euro, or whatever.
