1960âs split multi level home. We gathered in Overland Park for a mom/daughterâs retreat. We chose this house because of location and reviews. I Had I known there were so many steps and stairs everywhere, I would have not rented this house. NINE steps up to front door, no handrails. More steps and stairs throughout the house with no handrails except to upstairs 4 bedrooms- but once upstairs, there are more stairs to the loft bedroom and a random step up to shower and commode in hall bathroom. The one HVAC unit in this house has a hard time cooling the 4 upstairs bedrooms. It was over 80 degrees upstairs when I notified the the property manager- she very quickly had someone over to try to remedy the problem. Property Manager also had a handy man install a handrail from main level bedroom up to the kitchen (three steps) which was invaluable to our mom. House was conveniently located for shopping, and in a quiet neighborhood. We requested working nightlights for the 3 bathrooms and they promptly delivered those the next day. Beds were âokâ. Best feature of the property was location and promptness of property manager to try and make our stay manageable and comfortable.
