Cozy Rustic Private Packwood Cabin
Come enjoy the beautiful, private property in quiet Packwood! Our rustic cabin is nestled in the woods on the road to Packwood Lake. Visit Mt. Rainier or White Pass. Wildlife and trees aboundâ wild elk, deer, birds and more! Skiing, snowboarding, hiking and fishing are just some ideas! Enjoy a quiet night in or travel down the road to downtown where a variety of restaurants and brewery offer delicious meals! Great for a family or friend trip or flying solo for restful relaxation surrounded by natures beauty!
Sweet simple cabin. Property not quite what is pictured. There is no stream on the property. The cabin is small but cozy and the beds very comfortable. It could use a few upgrades in the kitchen. The oven and some dishes had to be cleaned before using. The back decking needs some repairs as there are boards rotting and unsafe to walk on.
We stayed here during our mount rainier trip. Perfect location between sunrise and paradise points. The property has really nice outdoor setting including fire pit. Owner provided very accurate direction as well as smooth check-in and check-out instructions.
The location of the cabin is perfect. It is close to the center of Packwood. The cabin is surrounded by beautiful trees with quiet environment. The cabin is very clean and comfortable. The communication with the owner of the cabin was smooth and fast. I would like to repeat coming back to the cabin.
The house is quite nice, with a beautiful set of windows overlooking a quiet wooded area. The only reason for my 4 stars is that we had some difficulty with communication, either not receiving updates that we asked for or not receiving timely responses.
Charming property, with very clear instructions. Wish we could have stayed longer. We had stayed at two other Vrbos this trip and our family liked this one best. We even had local guests for breakfast!
What an amazing, little gem in the woods! We had a fantastic stay! The property was exactly as described â clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The check-in process was smooth, and communication with the host was excellent throughout. The location was perfect â Mt Rainier and many other places to visit in the vicinity. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thanks again for a great experience!
Easy to find, super clean and some thoughtful amenities. The view is a peaceful and beautiful forest through a wall of windows. Wow!So close to both the Stevenâs and Longmire entrances. But Sunrise is about the same as Longmire. (We liked Longmire for Copper Creek and souvenirs). Packwood was super convenient as a home base. Would come again!
This was a cute little place, off the main road enough to feel like it was in the sticks but not so far that it actually was; itâs really only about a 3-minute drive from the main part of town and very close to the grocery store in case you need a few forgotten things. Location in relation to Mt. Rainier was excellent, we couldnât have asked for better. The cabin is a bit old which is fine except for two things: the first was the dishwasher. It mightâve mentioned it in the listing, but we either didnât remember or didnât look. The dishwasher does not work and we did not want to wash a bunch of dishes for our group, but running to the grocery store to buy paper products was quick and easy. The other was the creaky floors. The bedroom is right under the loft and every time someone in the loft bed moved the floor creaked and was much louder in the bedroom. With four giggling girls in the loft and my own creaking bed I had a very poor nightâs sleep. Iâm not a great sleeper on trips like this anyway and what is to be done about creaky beds and floors? If you can sleep anywhere and bring some ear plugs, you should have no problem. If you sleep in the loft or the sofa bed youâll also need an eye mask if morning light bothers you since there are no curtains. The awesome thing about this place was the woods - we had 4 11-yr old girls and they loved to explore those lovely woods, they had such a hard time leaving them, even for Mt Rainier!
Our family loved this little cabin! So cute and simple and had what we needed! We felt like we could have seen wildlife walk right by the living room windows it was so secluded. It was the best little retreat!
The cabin is so amazing. The place is better than the photo listed. The location is accessible. There are 3 full bed, a fire pit and a bbq grill, a fire stove in the house to keep the place warm. Full kitchen to cook meals. The aesthetic impressive. Definitely would stay again if I visit Mt rainier.
Everything was clean, even though when you looked out the back windows, you were totally alone, it did not seem isolated.
I could have parked myself on the back porch and breathed in the clean air for days.
Thank you!
