Comfortable and Quiet Hideaway

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Hinkle Tinkle Hideaway offered by Owner, Kim G. We found the indoor property in good condition. Everything working properly with no issues. The outdoor property is pleasantly forested with trees, picnic tables, seating and a fire pit. Even a hammock to rock and relax in. The covered back porch nicely extends the living space to give an outdoors feeling in the comfort of protection from outdoor elements. I enjoyed having a fully stocked kitchen with everything we needed to cook and enjoy eating our own meals. The furnishings are tastefully designed and comfortable for sleeping, watching TV, etc. Lots of games available for a rainy day and outdoor games for good weather. Which we had both on our stay. If you need a place to land while visiting Mt. Rainier National Forest, this property is a good choice.

Wonderful place, a real gem.

This was a family trip to visit Mount Rainier. The accommodations were spacious and comfortable. If the park wasn’t so magnificent, I would have spend more time on this wonderful property.

Nice and quiet cabin

It is a nice property. Quiet and very cozy. It was not until out last night that we noticed the fairy lights in the trees! So cool! The beds were comfortable and there was enough room in the house to stretch out and be comfortable. My daughter really enjoyed the swings.

A+++

We had the best time staying at Kim‘s property! It was the perfect homebase for our week at Mount Rainier National Park. This is our third visit to Packwood and by far our favorite of all the places we stayed. The living quarters were much bigger than we expected. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could have wanted. It was great having the washer and dryer available after long days on dusty trails. The beds were super comfortable and the porch was awesome. I just can’t say enough good things about our stay here. We are already planning our return!

Perfect As Always

Our 3rd year in a row staying here in June. It was perfect, as it always is! Elk walked through the property as they do every year. Beautiful creek running through. It’s the perfect little spot in the woods, calm and serene. The home is outfitted very nicely and so clean! Comfortable and lovely!

Great hideaway

The home was in a secluded, private area...very quiet! It offered many more amenities than we had time to use. Kim (owner) was attentive and available, but since instructions for the property were so well thought out and explained, we didn't need to reach out for any assistance. Great base camp for hiking near Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens. Thanks!!

Hinkle Tinkle home

The house was just as the pictures showed. Everything was very clean, the bed was so comfortable! Anything you could possible need in the kitchen was there. The home was very easy to locate in a quiet, private area. This would also be a great house if you had children as it has a huge yard, stream running through the back of the property and lots of places to explore. It was just a short drive to Mt. Rainier. Packwood is a cute little town. If you need groceries, there is a great grocery store in town (about 5 minutes from the home). We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent here. Thanks Kim.

Lovely getaway

Kim's place is very comfortable, clean, and well stocked. It's probably the best kitchen set up I've experienced. I also appreciated what she had available in the bathrooms. The home was very cozy and the beds were especially comfy. The property was beautiful and fun to explore. Kim was a great communicator and was very helpful.

Family ski weekend

We had a great stay at the hinkle tinkle hideaway. It was the perfect spot for a family of four with two kids who are just getting big enough to really need their own spaces. It worked out great! It was well stocked so we could easily prepare some great meals too. Cooking there was a breeze. They thought of every detail and made it very easy. Highly recommend!

Great cabin weekend!

I stayed here for two nights with my friends. We spent the days hiking at Mount Rainier National Park and came back to the cabin for the evenings. The cabin was well stocked, clean, and met our needs. We loved the screened in porch room, hammock, grill and fire pit. The property manager was easy to communicate with and overall we had a great stay.

Mt. Ranier visit

My ex-wife’s father died this past weekend, so my two sons flew to Minneapolis for their grandfather’s funeral and missed this leg of our vacation. Thus, I was alone in the house, and needed to check out at 6 am to get to the airport in time to pick them up for the remainder of our adventures. The house was a good base of operation for exploring Mt. Ranier, but was under-utilized for only one person.
