Harlyn Bay Padstow, 70 Steps from the Beautiful Stunning Beach, Parking Garden

Beach Lodge is a semi-detached house, one of a small number of properties which is lucky enough to be on level walking distance to Harlyn beach.

Beach Lodge is just et back from the hump back bridge - it really is just yards away from the beach. It's a perfect base for family holidays, nipping back and to the beach, walkers and couples looking to get away and relax. There are some amazing costal walks either towards Trevose Head or towards Trevone which leads to Padstow. Trevose Golf and Country Club is a mile away, with its champion course, tennis court’s and a fabulous heated outdoor pool in the summer. The newly open Harlyn Inn and cafe is just a stroll away, the Pig restaurant is just up the Hill, Big pan and Beach box are also just over at the beach. The bus stop at Harlyn is just by the bridge with a regular service to Padstow and Newquay.

Beach Lodge offer's 3 bedrooms;
Bedroom 1, is located on the ground floor with a king sized bed and en-suite shower room,
Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds.
Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds.
There is also a sofa in the snug..
The kitchen is well equipped for your stay.
The family bathroom is upstairs with bath sink and low level shower over the bath.
There is a stair gate fitted, a travel cot and bumbo for guest to use at the property. It's a comfortable home and we have many repeat bookings.

Outside the garden is a lovely sheltered area, the decking out the front is beautiful on a sunny morning to enjoy breakfast or a late lunch on. The garden is secure and being gated making it safe space for children and dog’s. Please note there is parking for 1 car only a 2nd space can be rented from the neighbours. There is an outside tap with a hose attached in the car space for guests to use as they wish - just please turn the water of at the tap after.

Dogs are very welcome and there is no additional charge for them, we kindly do ask you to clean up after your dog. Harlyn beach is one of the few beaches in the area which dogs are allowed on all year.

On Harlyn there is Beach Box for a warm drink, or afternoon drink in the summer, Harlyn Surf School, is located on the beach in the main season. Where you can hire paddle boards, kayaks and surf boards. They also offer lessons and tours.

Perfect location

Beach Lodge is only 90 steps from the beach at Harlyn Bay, a perfect base for the sea & sand. Dog friendly all year round this was perfect for us.

Family holiday, excellent stay

Lovely location, right next to beach that we, teenagers and the dog loved. Very functional base. Just needs an outside tap and hose so we could wash down us and the dog when coming off the beach to avoid sand inside.

Wow what a location!

Wonderful break with my trusty 4 legged bestie. Having the beach so close was fantastic and lying in bed hearing the waves so relaxing. Ideally placed for great food and other beaches and walks; could not have asked for more, will definitely be back!

Amazing time at Beach Lodge

Another amazing holiday at Beach Lodge, 2nd this year. Weather was super hot this time and the beach was fab with the sea breeze to keep cool 😎 Thank you to Jon & Maria for the yummy cream tea on arrival, it was much appreciated. Love it here & will definitely be back 😊

All was great apart from the garden being smaller than last time and the work going on in the building site next door, when that house is occupied it’s going to be far too close to the holiday home to offer peace and tranquility, such a shame as it was lovely before they built that.

Spacious, Comfortable and clean accomodation, enclosed garden perfect for our dog.Lovely week, with great access to coastal path and lovely Harlyn Bay, enjoyed swimming and walking.Minor points kitchen could do with a microwave and doors/windows need some servicing/adjustment as they are stiff to open and some trouble with getting key to turn and lock front door.

Perfect holiday

The lodge was beautifully decorated and looked after with everything you could need. The proximity to the beach and the coast path is a massive plus and the beach is fabulous. The garden area had a sunny aspect all day long which my two dogs just loved.The lodge is close to the beach but being positioned down a private lane it was peaceful and quiet. We really had an amazing stay and have booked again for September.
