Luxury Log Home with Hot Tub on 7+ Acres Featured In Log Home Digest. Sleeps 10

Secluded 4 bedroom, plus loft, well maintained hand peeled log home previously featured in Log Home Digest. The main floor master suite features a private deck to the garden, walk in closet and large master bath and a separate TV. The Great Room is framed in beautiful full round log with a floor to ceiling river Rock fireplace. It is accented with large windows bringing in lots of light and stunning views. Watch your favorite movie on a 4K TV with surround sound. Wonder out to the wrap around deck for a glass of wine while the sun sets casting the perfect glow over the East range of the San Juan Mountains. Or, soak in the brand new Bullfrog 6 person Hot Tub. You will probably see Fox, Elk , Deer and a Bobcat on the property or on the way to town. The upstairs includes a large Second Master with a King Bed, separate TV and a large closet. The third bedroom has 2 twin beds, with a trundle bed. The large loft is a perfect office, a separate place to read . Just 5 minutes to City Market shopping center, Walmart, Pagosa Mountain Hospital and many restaurants. Also less than 10 minutes to historic downtown where you can soak in the Pagosa Hot Springs, walk the San Juan River walking path or fly fish the river. Lots of games on site, with a horseshoe pit, croquet, bean bag toss, 3 station disc golf course, jenga, etc. The addition above the garage, 530+ sq. feet, adds a game room with a queen sleeper sofa, a full bathroom and a bedroom with a queen bed. In the game room is a 3 in 1 poker table that converts into bumper pool as well as a table to eat on. Also has a 55", 4K TV.

There is $750 refundable security damage deposit associated to the property. We also encourage VRBO optional damage coverage insurance.
There is a maximum 10 people limit, including children of all ages and we do not rent to anyone under 26 years old.

Disclosure, there are 3 cameras on the outside for property security. The outdoor fire pit is not available to guests. All outdoor wood or recreational burning fires and fireworks are prohibited per our HOA regulations.

Excellent place to stay! The cabin was so cozy and had the loveliest view from the porch. We enjoyed watching the elk one evening down below the cabin. The bathroom and kitchen were very clean which is super important to me! The kitchen was also well stocked compared to other rentals we have stayed in. Steve was very responsive to our questions and texts! It was a great stay and I would highly recommend to anyone!

Had a blast with 4 buddies on a 5 day ski trip. Everything was in great condition and spacious. Hot tub helped heal the sore muscles. The 4th bedroom was over the garage so it was like a separate apartment. Host was nice and accommodating as we dealt with about 2 feet of snow.

House was great! The house is full furnished and made staying there for a week seamless. We were there for Christmas and the house was decorated for the holiday! Our family enjoyed playing games, sitting in the hot tub and watching movies when we weren’t skiing. Overall great experience. We would stay there again.

The Luxury Log Home was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. It was perfect for our family gathering. My sister suggested we go out to dinner one night, and I said, "Why? Let's cook here and enjoy this wonderful home"! And, so we did! It was comfortable and had everything we needed. Steve and his wife are excellent hosts. They checked in with us to make sure the house would be a good fit for our family, and when we had a question, they answered promptly. When booking this home, keep in mind that it is several miles from a storeso get what you need before arrival. The backyard, forest beyond and views are breathtaking. The first morning there we saw a family of elk just beyond the backyard. Book this home...you'll be glad you did!

We had a fabulous time in this beautiful log home with lovely views of the mountains and forest. The hosts were very responsive to any questions. The location is nice and quiet, and the drive to good restaurants and shopping is only a few minutes away. The home had every amenity you could want, and lots of room for sleeping and socializing.

Great house nestled in the mountains

This house was perfect for us. We came for a ski vacation and originally had 10 guests, but only ended up taking eight people total. 10 Would have been no problem because the house will accommodate all 10 very comfortably. The house is beautiful and well-maintained. The hot tub is easily accessible and a must have for skiers.The house had everything that we needed to cook a few meals, there were plenty of towels, and the location was very easy to get to and close enough to town that everything was accessible, but far enough away that it was extremely peaceful.I appreciated that almost every light switch in the house was labeled because sometimes in log homes, it’s difficult to find the light switch you’re looking for. The TV service worked great while we were there although we didn’t watch a lot of TV. There were a lot of games and puzzles to choose from as well. We have rented several different houses over the last seven years in Pagosa Springs and this one definitely ranks at the very top.The owner is very hospitable and very easy to reach and communicate with. I will definitely be looking to rent this property again on our return trips.

Absolute Perfection

Gorgeous house and property! The views were spectacular. Everything our family needed for a relaxing vacation was there - well stocked kitchen, games, and comfy beds. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife each day and the beautiful afternoon mountain showers. The property is in a neighborhood, but the seven acres gave us plenty of space to explore and have fun. The property owners were great about communicating with us both before and during our stay. Highly recommend this property!

The location is nice but the home is very outdated. The problem with this place is that you will receive multiple calls and messages from the owners before, during, and after my stay. The owner will make you sign a separate lease agreement after you book through VRBO. They will then send you a secondary set of instructions on the day you check in with separate rules in addition to the agreement you sign. These rules include the fact that they have cameras with audio throughout the property. It felt like an invasion of privacy. The owner will add extra charges to your credit card after leaving the home. They claimed that the charges were for scratching their poker table when our group never used the room that it was in. The owner then stated that our group did not make the scratch but stated that the group caused their cleaning team 4 extra hours of cleaning because we did not start a load of towels. I then had to interact with them multiple times over the next few weeks because of the extra cleaning required and the charges associated with it. If you stay at this place, be prepared to have the owner be a part of your life for a month. Take pictures of everything when you leave.

Great place and host was very accommodating. Just outside The main part of town but was able to do so much. Snowboarding a couple times, Snow mobile ride, good thai food and soaked in the hot springs (a little stinky though). Cabin had everything we needed (or could want) to make meals, coffee, etc. Beds were very cozy. Beautiful starry nights and amazing sun rises
