San Juan Cabin on The Ridge - Best Views

The best views in Pagosa Springs! This modern cabin has endless, panoramic views of the mountains. It is the one of three cabins on 72 acres and just 1.5 miles from the heart of Pagosa with miles of private hiking trails for guests to enjoy.

We built the cabin ourselves to be a vacation rental, drawing on our own traveling experiences to make it the perfect home base for a very private getaway or a jumping off point to access all that the mountains have to offer. Furnished with everything we could think you would need. We clean and maintain our own cabin so that everything will be perfect for you.

This cozy, luxurious get-a-way to relax in with all the comforts of home. Will sleep 5.

Relax and sleep well in the private bedroom with a king bed and a separate heat and air conditioning system to keep you at the perfect temperature.

At the top of our custom, locally made, ship’s ladder you will find a sleeping loft with 3 twin beds and breathtaking views.

You have access to our private 1.15 mile hiking trail that begins right from the parking area at the cabin.

4wd Car recommendation: It is recommended that you have a 4wd car or truck in winter months and/or good snow tires.

Pets only allowed with prior approval. Maximum of two pets. Please be mindful to not allow pets to roam the property unattended.

Romantic Getaway

This is one of the most beautiful homes I’ve ever seen! The views are second to none, and the property manager/home owner were friendly and responsive. They gave suggestions on fun places to go, and there were walking trails on the promises. We only used the master bedroom, but there were 3 mattresses in a loft area that overlooked the living room. It was a very modern, romantic location. I couldn’t recommend it more.

The wow factor for this place is off the charts. The location is outstanding 10/10. The place was super clean, had everything you could possibly need, we felt right at home on arrival. The beds were comfy, with plenty of extra blankets. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Great place - Great views!

This is the second time we have stayed at this spot in Pagosa. The views are amazing! It’s 10 min outside of town, nice and quiet and pretty dark skies for star gazing. Very relaxing spot - the bed is very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with all the cooking equipment you could want. The property manager is a great communicator and quick to answer any of our questions. We brought our dog and really enjoyed the mile long trail around the property - we did that hike a few times with him.

A view to die for

This property is Amazing! We stayed at two of these rentals. The first one has a fabulous view of the mountains. We watched a hot air balloon festival from the deck area. It was the perfect spot for taking that in. The second one was set among the trees and also had a beautiful view of the mountain peak. We ourselves are a vrbo owner and expect only the best. This property did not disappoint. We will definitely return.

Perfect Place

Our stay at the Ridge Cabins was exceptional. Before we got there Sarah communicated efficiently when I had questions. Check in was easy. Henry was a delight to talk to and there if we needed anything. The cabin was the cleanest rental I have ever been in and had all the amenities we needed. Loved having the trails right outside the door. The views are amazing and I love that it is dog friendly. This place feels remote however you can get to town in five minutes. I highly recommend this place.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

First and foremost, the view from the cabin/deck was AMAZING! From the personalized welcome sign to the goodie basket, the hospitality was top-notch. Henry was quick to welcome us and always checked in on us with every encounter. We even ran into him on the river walk, and he went out of his way to chat with us. We enjoy traveling with dogs, so all of the accommodations for dogs was much appreciated. Our dogs loved sunbathing on the deck. The trail was nicely marked and made for a great morning walk for our dogs. The added benches and swing were wonderful and allowed us to enjoy the mountains and wildlife even more. We will definitely be back!

Perfectly Perched

As you drive up to this property you know you are in for something special and it doesn’t disappoint. Jaw dropping views, mountain breezes on the deck, comfortable bed, fully stocked kitchen. It’s just fabulous. It’s way more than 5 stars. A plus as well is communication with Sarah was extraordinary and our interactions with Henry, warm, friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend it! Magnificent Mountain View

This stay was above all expectations we had! Sarah was so helpful getting us in last minute. The cabin was spacious and had all you needed to make it your home away from home. Our favorite part was the deck with its wonderful mountain view and fresh mountain air. Henry was on hand for any needs that might arise and so pleasant to visit with. This is definitely a gem in the Pagosa area!

Would love to stay here again in the future

It was a little tricky finding the location initially. Also, I did not realize this property was without a washer/dryer (I definitely could’ve missed in the posting though). These were only minor inconveniences as the view was quite possibly the best view in Pagosa. Being at the top of the hill, it was quiet in the evening and the balcony is the best for morning coffee. Being able to have our dogs with us, made it feel even more like home.
