Hidden gem near Palm Springs

The pool is clean and cool that let me forget the heat of the desert area. The restaurant they have gave me a wonderful dining experience as well. The free bottle of sparkling wine they gave me as the VIP access benefit was great as well! If you are looking for a place to enjoy your day in the property, you should check this place out, and you will not regret!

My experience at the Sands was hands down the best experience I’ve had in Palm Springs. I stayed during the week so my experience was peaceful and the environment was calm and exactly what I wanted for a little getaway. The room was beautiful, looked and felt very very clean, and I felt very safe staying here. Lastly but certainly not least, the amazing staff were so kind, friendly, and made me feel right at home in every space. Truly a perfect experience!

Perfect property! A true getaway. Huge plus that it’s kid free but some of the adults tend to over do it but that wouldn’t stop me from staying there again. Loved it! Only snag is that they send you courtesy text messages offering, say for example, house keeping and don’t follow through on your request. I left my do not disturb sign on and the hotel text me if I was sure I didn’t want house keeping. I said, yes I would and gave them a 4 hour window (per there request) and they never cleaned the room. Small mishap.

While I haven’t racked up an impressive passport of hotel stays, I have somehow developed a special talent for picking the wrong ones. I’m talking five-star disasters with leaky showers and “ocean views” that require a periscope. So believe me when I say: Sands Hotel completely broke my losing streak—in the best way possible. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I had accidentally wandered into a parallel universe where hotel staff are genuinely kind, attentive, and somehow psychic. I kept waiting for someone to break character—but nope, every single person I encountered was warm, friendly, and sincerely helpful. It was like the Twilight Zone, but instead of eerie music and existential dread, it came with smiles and great customer service. I brought a friend for her birthday, and the entire experience felt special from the jump. The rooms were spotless, peaceful, and gave off serious “go ahead and exhale” energy. The property itself is beautifully maintained—stylish, serene, and somehow both luxurious and laid-back at the same time. It’s basically what my nervous system imagines when someone says “relax.” Long story short: I didn’t want to leave. (In fact, I briefly considered hiding in the closet and applying for a job at the front desk.) I’m incredibly grateful to the team at Sands for restoring my faith in hospitality. 10 out of 10? Try 100,000 out of 10

The property was very cute and decorated great. The bed was super comfortable. My only complaint was the lighting. The lighting was super dim in the bathroom and it made it hard to do makeup/see. Rooms needed brighter bathroom lighting.

I can’t say enough about the stay we had here over the Memorial Day Weekend/My Big 40th Bday. From the moment we checked in, Summer at the front desk was an absolute gem! She showed us to our room and gave us the run down on the property. Our Deluxe King room was beautifully appointed with a comfortable bed, excellent amenities/toiletries by Diptyque and a fully stocked premium mini bar. The bathroom was also just as stunning and we even had our own private patio. After spending our first night, we decided the following morning to extend our stay for an additional night. Michelle at the front desk easily made this happen for us without needing to reassign us a different room. The food at The Pink Cabana restaurant was delicious and used fresh ingredients for each of the items offered on their menu. Gabby at the bar was excellent in suggesting other places nearby to try as well as making us feel super welcomed while we had a pre-dinner drink at her bar one night. Stella, one of the poolside servers, was the sweetest and even on the hottest of days she maintained a pleasant demeanor and was very attentive to our needs. Overall, I can’t wait to come back. This will be our top choice for our next trip down to the desert. Thank you all for making such a great and memorable experience for my husband and I!
