This Alligator Point Cottage is located beachfront on the Gulf of Mexico in what’s known as Florida’s Forgotten Coast. While the Forgotten Coast is not as developed as is other Florida Gulf beaches, such as Destin or Panama City, this stretch of Gulf waters has it’s own unique peaceful beauty. Large white sand beaches are accessible directly in front of the home via a private walkway straight to the water.

A Natural for Family Enjoyment:
Alligator Court Cottage is perfect for young families, seniors or just a group of friends looking for a peaceful beach stay. Alligator Point is in an excellent white sand beach and awaits you for sunning, swimming, fishing from shore or just reading a good book.

The home:
This home features two bedrooms as well as two dual living-rooms with one sleeper sofa per living room. A large screened porch for dining and watching the sunset. A fully stocked kitchen for preparing your catch of the day.

Great Pet Friendly Beach House

Checkin: I didn’t get an email with specific check in instructions, but I was able to text the owner with a quick and fantastic response. We would have liked to use both pull out sofas but one had a sofa cover over it and we didn’t feel good about taking g that off. It’s advertised to sleep 8, but actually, it would be better for 6 adults because two of the beds are sofa beds. It’s was very clean. The screened in porch is by far the best part of this house. Lots of seating and a beautiful view of the ocean. It’s perfect if you are traveling with a dog. The bathrooms are the tiniest bathrooms
zero space for your toiletries. That is one renovation I would tackle if I owned this house. If you like a very remote beach vacation, this is definitely the place!!

great quiet location

Good..... If you like having the beach practically to yourself, and we did, its a perfect location. However, just FYI, there are no resturaunts in the vicinity, and the nearest grocery is 17 mile one way. We did not mind this as we prefer to bring groceries and cook. The kitchen was well stocked with all cooking utensils you need. Also the property manager was very nice and easy to work with. We did not complain to her because there was not anything she could do, the owners need to step it up. Bad.....Furnishings are very old and worn out. The one couch with a throw on it is filthy! . Spent first day cleaning. Really needs to be updated and cleaned. If this was done we would not hesitate to come back for the location.

A perfect getaway

50 steps to the beach (we measured), beautiful Gulf of Mexico, and all the house accommodations we could ask for at this price. What else you should know... The closest small food store is 5 miles away. The beach sand is gorgeous. The water is a bit stained due to the nearby Ochlockonee River (might vary with the tide.)

We love this house!
