'Endless Summer' is tastefully decorated with a coastal ambiance, this two-story luxury town home offers a carefree and relaxing atmosphere for your coastal escape! Just minutes from Seaside, Watersound, and Alys Beach, The Town of Prominence is located between all the best of 30A!



Conveniently located on the first floor is a powder room and laundry room as well as our first bedroom with full over full bunk beds. An oak staircase leads to the second floor with three bedrooms. Adjacent to one another are the two smaller bedrooms that feature two twin beds and the other a queen-size bed.



These bedrooms share an elegant bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The master suite features a king-size bed and private bathroom with a double vanity and walk-in shower. All bathrooms feature Moen fixtures, and raised height vanities.  This home is sure to become your favorite vacation tradition!



The Town of Prominence is 30A's newest vacation destination boasting resort style pools, private cabanas, hammocks, and outdoor dining pavilions with communal grilling area. A short walk across 30A, residents enjoy access to The Big Chill, which features restaurants, boutique shops, and The Prominence Town Center event pavilion with weekly concerts and movie nights! The Town of Prominence is sure to provide an unforgettable vacation experience for the whole family. 30A is a scenic stretch of highway down Florida's beautiful Gulf Coast between Destin and Panama City Beach. Parking & Transportation:

- Parking: There is parking for 2 vehicles in the driveway.

- Bicycles: Enjoy 4 adult bikes to explore 30A in style (Amenity Fee applies at Checkout).

- North Prominence Triplex (A, B, C) Unit Parking: Parking is only allowed in the garage (if available) and/or the driveway of the unit being rented. Parking in unassigned driveways is prohibited and may result in towing or fines. No street parking or overflow parking is permitted in Prominence North. Additional parking is available at The Big Chill (formerly The Hub).

- South Prominence Parking: Parking is available in the driveway or garage of the home (if available). Street parking is allowed, but additional parking in the gravel spots on Pleasant and Clipper streets is first-come, first-served.

Pool Parking: No overnight parking is allowed at the pool area.

Trailer/Boat Parking: There is no trailer parking available.

Beach Accesses: There are several convenient beach accesses*! Below are 3 of the most popular accesses:

- Gulf Lakes Beach Access: The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about 1 mile to the East of Prominence.

- Deer Lake State Park: Deer Lake is located 0.5 miles West of Prominence. This access has a small parking area at the access (~$3-$5 for parking) and bathrooms, but the walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed & beach service is not available at this location.

- Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is a Walton County, ADA approved, beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. Parking and bathrooms are also available at this access.

*Note: Prominence homes access the beach via South Walton public beach access points. Most guests typically use the Deer Lake State Park beach access or other nearby public access points. Prominence homes do not offer direct beach access through the Watersound Club, nor do they provide access to the private Watersound Club facilities.



Golf Cart/LSV (Low-Speed Vehicle) Rentals in Prominence: If your property does not come with a golf cart, you are only permitted to rent one through 30A Gulf Carts. Prominence strictly allows the rental of street-legal golf carts for guest use through this provider only. Questions regarding this policy should be directed to the Prominence HOA.

Nearby Grocery Shopping: Publix at Watersound Origins, located on US 98 at North Watersound Parkway, approximately 3 miles away. Publix in Watercolor Crossing, located on South County Hwy 395, approximately 5 miles away.

Great location

Great stay! Only downside was the A/C didn’t work but they had a guy out the very next morning. Luckily it got a little cooler in the evenings so wasn’t a huge deal. The home looks exactly like the pictures! If you stay here it’s definitely worth the golf cart! You can drive to the beach and to dinners without having to get the car all wet and sandy. Would 100% be back!

Everything was amazing, with the exception of a few details. The sofas in the living room need to be throughly cleaned, they appear dingy or stained. The outlets in the master bathroom don’t work which makes getting ready difficult. The tv in the living room is hooked up to cable but the bedroom tvs are not hooked up to anything. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay and we still had a fantastic time! Would definitely stay again.

The house was great, company was easy to work with and provided suggestion for all resources one would need for their stay. Proximity to the pool and The Big Chill were great! My only complaint is the map shows this home in a totally different place on 30A. We thought, based on what the map showed we were on the Inlet/Panama City side of 30A and this home is definitely not in that location. It shows the home closer to the beach as well, which was not anccurate. Other than that, great house and stay.

Avoid Beachwalk Vacations at all costs!

Absolutely avoid booking anything managed by Beachwalk Vacations!! Had the potential to be 5 stars. There was virtually no customer service from Beachwalk or VRBO, not what you expect for the price you pay at a premium destination like Prominence on 30A. And after Beachwalk Vacations property management was unresponsive and a no-show to address multiple issues they promised, VRBO was no help and has not followed up with us about the claim we submitted. The keyless door was broke and management didn’t fix for the entire stay despite multiple calls and commitments that a locksmith would come to fix. Instead, we entered through the garage past the overflowing garbage that the previous tenants left behind. The property wasn’t clean either. There was some kind of substance on the walls that looked like snot and gum on the stairs. Once again, management said they would come to address the cleanliness but nobody showed up for our entire stay. There was a myriad of other issues including a broken garbage can, scuffs and damages all over the walls, and poorly maintained bikes. It’s a shame that a nice property in a great location is so poorly maintained and pedaled to vacationers as luxury. VRBO won’t help you either. Hours spent on hold, repeating the same information to multiple customer service reps with no results, no refund, and no follow up. VRBO lost a loyal customer after this experience. Stay at Prominence on 30A, but don’t stay with Beachwalk Vacations or VRBO.

So perfect, we got engaged!

Place was just perfect! I have 2 kids (14 and 17), and my fiancé has a daughter (20) and I brought the ring, just in case the setting was right to propose. I didn't get beyond the first night when I proposed! It was wonderful! The home is clean, stocked well, and everything you need for fun trips to the beach, shops, etc. The golf cart and bikes are such a nice touch and so helpful. We rented a car, which did come in handy for those quick trips to the grocery store, but you could get away with just the golf cart and bikes. The beach is a quick 10 min ride about 2 miles down the street. Easy in, easy back. The bedroom setups were perfect!! Master bedroom was just wonderful - so much space, and the bed was SO comfortable! We both commented how well we slept each night! Cons: "Cons" is a bit heavy, I would call them more of a "things to be mindful of". Parking can be a bit tricky, depending on time of year, and time of day. We were there in July, so it was busy (something we of course anticipated). Just leave a bit early and no problemo! Some places are not golfcart friendly, so keep that in mind as well. But for the most part, we never really had a problem. Parking at the beach can also be tricky. Make a right out of the complex and turn left on Lakewood. There is a public parking lot there (it only has 12 spots, so being a tad early has its benefits). I give it a 99 out of 100. What a stay! Thank you! It was perfect!!!

..

Very nice but if you want convenient beach access you may want to stay at a place that has its own beach access, instead of having to use the public beach access areas. This was our first time in Prominence and last. Going back to Seaside/Water Color area. Also the mattresses in the master bed room and one other room (the one with the queen/full set are Terrible.

Too much of a pain to enjoy comfortably

Communication with Beach Management was horrible. I contacted them June 5th & June 15th via VRBO to verify we were on time with our payments & received no response. Finally I facebook messaged them to request they call me. They responded to the message that I could call them anytime but when I did call I got voicemail & had to leave a message. Then we get into the property & we can't figure out the bike locks. I text them a message through there website & got a pretty snarky response to reread the house instructions. Horrible communication with the house management. *The golf cart apparently broke with the guests who stayed there before our stay. So they gave us a $25 a day refund or $100 total refund which we still haven't gotten & is been 2.5wks. In order for us to rent a 4 seater golf cart for $500 with another company. They didn't leave very many supplies... What was left was... 2 dishwasher pods. We washed dishes twice a day. So that lasted one day. We were there for 4. They left 1 washer detergent pack for a small load but we washed clothes every day from the beach towels & swimsuits we used. They left 3 bags for trash for a 4 bedroom house & we had 8 people staying there where we cooked every day. *There was no condiments (salt, pepper, sugar). I've stayed in several places (hotels, Airbnb & VRBO) & they have at least those. *Dryer took about 3hrs to dry a load. They need to clean the filter because that is ridiculous. *Bottom floor toilet sounds like a beached whale when flushed waking up those that slept downstairs. *There were Fruit flies everywhere! But there was no food/fruit in the house when we got there & we didn't buy any fruit. They really ought to do a better job cleaning. *Lastly there were no pads for the swifter. Someone had tracked in sand & the broom wasn't picking it up so we were going to use the swifter but there were no pads. Do they really expect people not to clean the homes they rent? It was a very frustrating rental. I do not recommend this property management service. Lovely house but they nickle & dime everything & don't respond to communications.

Home and surrounding great / Communication challenge.

The home itself, location, and general surroundings were great. The golf cart was a great plus as well as the bikes. The Hub was a huge advantage with food choices and entertainment. We did not have good success with communicating with property management company. We had minor challenges with the TV staying connected and minor issues with garage code consistently working. We called for help and left messages with no response and left a message on VRBO inbox message system with no response. We gave up on getting help. Perhaps there is as some sort of system error. I would not let that stop me from staying here again but definitely would like a better communication method.

The place was so clean and decorated nice. Loved having the golf cart. Close to The Hub. The only complaints are the dryer takes a long time and the cell service is bad. Great House for Family Vacation

This house was great! It’s located about 100 feet from the pool and at the very front of the neighborhood- an easy walk to The Hub across the street. The house was fully stocked, from kitchen tools to plenty of towels in the bathrooms. They even provided a couple dish detergent pods, some laundry detergent, Dish soap, and dryer sheets. Cell service is really bad In the house itself, but we were aware of this and were able to do everything we needed through the WiFi. The golf cart made transportation really easy. This house is a 5 min ride to the beach. The Hub has many options for shopping, entertainment, and food. Overall, this trip checked all the boxes on our list for a great family vacation.

House is in a great location at the very front of the neighborhood, pool is across the street one way, Hub is across the street the other. Golf cart is a life saver, went to the Santa Clara beach access every day which is about 3.4 miles away, loaded up the golf cart and took off. House was exceptionally clean and beautiful.

A week in paradise

The home was beautiful and neighborhood was quite. We really enjoyed the pool and having access to the golf cart was amazing. Riding to the beach on the golf cart was fun and not that far away. The Hub was fun every evening. Our teenagers enjoyed getting on the bikes and exploring. Great trip!!!

Lovely home and amenities

This is a great new house with lots of room and well equipped kitchen. The decor is very current and comfortable. We were visiting at a time when the beach shuttle was not available so beach access is not very convenient, but being across the street from the Hub is really a plus. The rental company was very responsive and helpful during our stay, as well, which is always important. I would definitely recommend this unit!
