Charming and Inviting Townhome with Golf Cart

Coconut Hut is a dreamy 3 BR/ 2.5 bath and includes a golf cart during your stay. The home sleeps 9 and has all of the comforts and luxuries you would expect on a vacation of rest and relaxation, including meticulous finishes and luxurious furnishings. You will have all you need to prepare meals and entertain family and friends with a fully stocked kitchen overseeing the main living area for gathering while prepping meals. The open living and dining areas have 10' ceilings, a family-size dining table and plenty of windows for a bright and spacious feel. The living area is outfitted with a 65" smart TV, and all of the TV's in the home are smart as well. There is also an Xbox One gaming system and a BluRay/ DVD player for added entertainment. The Master suite offers a king-sized bed, and walk-in closet. The private master bath has a double vanity and large shower with glass door. The second and third bedrooms offer a Queen and a Queen with a twin trundle. These bedrooms share a large bathroom with a tub/shower combo. All of the mattresses are gel-infused for cooling comfort. This home backs up to the state park for added privacy and great view.

Coconut Hut is a 2 minute walk to the resort style pool, and is just a short shuttle or bike ride to the the beach. The town of Prominence is a 30A hotspot, and offers a resort life style which includes a 5,000 sq. ft. pool with cabanas and a community grilling area offering 2 large grills surrounding the poolside and a fitness center. The "Big Chill", situated a short walk across the street, offers something for all ages. From shakes and ice cream to tequila and beer, to tacos and wings, or BBQ and burgers. A stop here is quick, tasty and convenient, and comes with a side of entertainment at the outdoor amphitheater, retail shopping or relaxation around the fireplace on the community screened porch. Prominence Beach Access Points

Beach Access to the West:

Deer Lake State Park - Deer Lake is the most popular and the closest beach access to Prominence and is located .5 miles away. While it is popular, there are a few things to keep in mind: There is a small parking area at the access (aprox. $3 for parking) Bathrooms are also available at the access. The walk froth parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed. Beach service is not available at this location either.

Walton Dunes - Walton Dunes is about 2 miles to the west at the end of Beachfront Trail. This is a Walton County beach access with parking and short distance to the beach.

Santa Clara - Santa Clara access is a Walton County beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. *This is the scheduled stop for the Prominence shuttle. Parking and bathrooms are also available at the Santa Clara access. If you take the tram, please note that the hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Beach Access to the East:

Gulf Lakes - The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about .5 miles to the east of Prominence. This is a small access and can be easily missed. Parking is not available, but makes for a great bike ride to the beach.

Sea Breeze - Sea Breeze is a Walton County beach access that is just past the Gulf Lakes access. Parking and bathrooms are not available at this access, however, there is a shower.

Absolutely loved the unit. We had a few minor things that needed addressing but the host was quick to respond. Loved the Christian devotions and books that were laying around. Actually went home and ordered a devotion for my home. If there were any suggestions that I would make would be if a cost break would be offered for those staying a month or more. Again, lovely place.

Home away from home

The property was absolutely amazing. The owner provided so many extras, including beach towels, chairs, beach toys, umbrellas and a pack and play. The location is perfect and the decor was beautiful. I cannot wait to go back next year.

Great stay!

Coconut Hut is a cute, well appointed place to stay on 30a. We had our family there for Thanksgiving and there was plenty of room for all of us, including our fur baby. It was even better than expected. It was a short drive in the golf cart to the beach access and it’s centrally located between Seagrove and Rosemary Beach. The owners thought of everything including beach towels! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay.
