Has potential, but it shouldnât be open until the bulk of construction is done. First, the positives. The bed is comfortable and the location is stellar. Once complete, itâll be a very nice listing. Now the issues. It wasnât totally clean and the level of construction was outrageous. Putting âdiscounted due to constructionâ isnât enough of a warning. We heard banging as early as 7:30AM. The drilling at times was so loud that we were essentially ran out of the property. The balcony wasnât accessible, the pool in our building wasnât accessible, the beach access attached to our building wasnât accessible. I expressed issues to the property owner and they didnât provide a satisfactory solution. I was honestly a little confused by the interaction and what they were trying to offer. To the best of my understanding, they could move us and offer a 50% refund on the nights we didnât stay. But I think they meant that I would have had to book and pay for an additional listing. Not sure. No refund has been issued. Some of the things I brought to their attention was the cleanliness. Lots of hair on the step up to the shower, brown stuff on the headboard, splatter of something on the wall next to the bed, and potential blood next to the tv. Not sure what that was. Other things I later found were mold in the washer, a dead bug in the kitchen area, and the dishes werenât clean to my standard (but those are the responsibility of the renters). Again, this place has potential, but not yet.
