Just a short walk away from the beach, this resort-style vacation destination offers an abundance of amenities and activities to ensure a memorable stay. Laketown Wharf Parking Pass & Wristband Fee
A one-time $111.53 fee is paid directly to the HOA via their online portal (link sent after registration). Guests must pre-register with names, ages, and vehicle details. Parking passes are picked up at the front desk; wristbands are in the unit and must be left at checkout to avoid a $50 replacement fee each.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My stay was somewhat uncomfortable. I enjoyed the resort as always, but this rental was not it. We traveled 7+ hours and arrived about 1 hour early and wasn't able to get in. We had to wait outside the door because I couldn't reach a representative and when they called back they still instructed us to wait. The unit was VERY dusty, master bed toilet was dirty, stains on kitchen decor and badly stained tubs. Just was an uncomfortable stay with Benchmark.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While the condo was very spacious and a great location, we were very disappointed with the overall condition and cleanliness of the unit. For the first week we experienced bugs on a daily basis and the exterminator was by twice. There unit was very dirty and we spent the first three days of our stay cleaning the place to make it Livable. The entire init needs some maintenance and a deep clean including furniture apholstry. All patio cushions had mild due stains and need to be replaced. With some TLC this can be a nice unit.

Poor management company.

I received a lot of redundant communication from the management company, which was sort of chaotic. I wish all pertinent info was in one place/ email or at least that the info was consistent among all means of communication. For example, our check in was listed as 4 and 4:30 in different communications. Also, it is listed that check in could be delayed till 5 for cleaning….. so I will be charged if I enter before this unclear check in time, but if they are late, I should just adjust my plans to just wait longer? Very unprofessional. Unresponsive management. They changed the door code the morning of our check in date and only communicated this through text (no email and the apartment link was not updated). Neither the old or new code were correct. We waited 1.5 hours in the Florida heat waiting on the management company to call back to reset the code. The condo was well furnished but the cleaning service never put out pillows in the beds. While there were many pillows in the closet, there were only 2 pillowcases in a condo meant for 10 people…. There were also supposed to be a bath towel, hand towel, and wash cloth for 10 people, but there were only 9 bath towels and 1 wash cloth. There was also no hand or body soap, despite this being promised beforehand. There were no trash bags. Also one elevator in the building was broken the entirety of our stay and the other elevator only worked 1/2 the time. The one elevator was always packed because of this.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay, and for the most part, the pros outweighed the cons. I would just say that for the cost we did expect a little better facilities. The cons fall mostly on the management company and not these particular condo owners.Pros: The condo itself has plenty of room for 7-8 people. Very spacious!It was clean and comfortable with nice furniture and decor. The balcony was huge, and although I would rather have a view of the ocean instead of the city, we were able to watch the fountain show each night. The condo is a very short walk to the beach and the atmosphere is mostly family-friendly.Cons: The biggest headache by far had to be the elevator situation! The condo is located on the 8th floor, literally right by the elevators. That was great, but just don't expect to be able to grab an elevator real quick. If you are carrying luggage or pulling a wagon to the beach you are going to have to wait a good 15-20 minutes before you can fit on the elevator. The Wifi didn't work the first two days (they had sent us the wrong network and password info) The dishwasher did not work - not a big deal had they provided a drainboard or at least more than a single hand towel (that's even more inconvenient than it sounds after a day or so). There were a few kitchen items that would have been useful for cooking, but overall it was well-equipped.There was no broom or dustpan. That made no sense knowing that guests would be bringing in sand on a daily basis, so we had to break out the vacuum a few times a day.This may not bother others, but the distinct, skunk-like stench of marijuana wafted onto our balcony every night and that was annoying (especially having young kids and teenagers with us)Having a fitness center was good, but it could have been better maintained.

Family Gathering

We rented four units from the same host for our extended family Thanksgiving vacation. The proximity was great (1 unit on floors 5, 6, 7 and 8)! Our family had a wonderful time and we're looking forward to returning.

Our stay at this unit was excellent!

Our stay at this unit was excellent! The unit was exact as described and in a great location. We were within walking distance to the beach as well as some great restaurants. The facilities offer great pools and restaurants right on site without having to leave the condo. The hosts communication and friendliness was excellent throughout our entire stay. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Beautiful place! If you're looking for a comfortable, clean, and beautiful place to stay with your family, look no further! This home has a beautiful view, very spacious, very clean and well decorated, and perfectly located. We had a wonderful family vacation and a wonderful stay. Every one loved it! We will definitely book it again next time we come to Panama City, and I'll recommend this place to anyone looking a great place to stay.

Coffee maker was broken, never received the replacement. The main reason for a poor review is the location. The place is right next to the very busy street and is very crowded and loud.

Definitely the best place i've ever stayed!!

Definitely the best place i've ever stayed!! Plenty of space for everyone and the view was to die for!! It was nice because we had walmart and mcdonald's and everything walking distance and also had the restaurants at the bottom of the hotel that were amazing as well! If you are looking for a place for a big family this is definitely the spot. 10/10
