Prominence on 30A is home to some of the most amazing amenities around. Two resort-style pools on the north and south side of Hwy 30A, shaded areas, hammocks for lazy afternoon snoozes, and enormous pool decks can be found in the Prominence community. The neighborhood is also famous for its town center, home to the entertainment and dining hub known as The Big Chill (formerly known as "The Hub"). The Big Chill showcases great 30A shopping, dining, outdoor projection screen to enjoy the big game, and live music performances.
The Pool is heated March 1 - April 30, October 1 - November 30, and December 21 - December 31.

Situated between Seagrove Beach and Alys Beach near the popular Watersound neighborhood, Prominence is located within a handy distance of the area’s most enjoyable sightseeing and activities. At Prominence on 30A, you’ll be within an easy bike or golf cart ride to the sugar-white sands of our world-famous beaches. Prominence is also located close to the area’s greatest nature preserves and bike paths, as well as hotspots for outdoor recreation like stand-up paddleboarding, snorkeling, kayaking, hiking, and more.

Golf Cart and Biking are two of the best ways to get around town. Golf carts can be driven on roads with a speed limit of 35 mph or less, including scenic highway 30A. Highway 30A's 19-mile paved bike path (sometimes referred to the “Timpoochee Trail”) parallels the entire length of the scenic road and passes through all of its famous beach communities, from Dune Allen in the west to Seacrest and Alys Beach in the east.
