It is less than ten minutes from the award winning St. Andrews State Park with 2 fishing piers, beach, picnic and grill pavilion, boat launch, nature trail with alligators, tropical birds, deer, snorkeling, surfing, bike rentals, trips out to Shell Island and much more. There is a variety of restaurants like Liza’s Kitchen and shops like Mr. Surf’s Surf Shop and Bike Rentals within a few moments walk from Tropic Like its Hot.

Starting with the parking, you’ll be relieved that you won’t have to search for an available or reserved space, or need a parking pass. At Tropic Like Its Hot, parking is convenient on the double wide driveway for up to four standard sized cars or a small boat, and is just steps from the front door. Please note that the garage is storage space and is not accessible to guests.
As you approach the front door, you’ll notice the attention to detail and professional design. The lit entry and inviting front porch welcome you even before you enter. The living room is large and spacious, plenty of room for your entire group. There you’ll find direct access to the covered and screened back porch with an overhead fan. The living room is designed to treat guests to comfort and relaxation on substantial sofas encouraging group discussion or to enjoy watching your favorite TV program, movie or team. There is even an Arcade style video game with multiple games included for endless free play anytime you choose.
You’ll find a park-style charcoal grill, multiple options for seating, and even a golf putting green in the backyard provided for your enjoyment. Enjoy a game of Twister or hang out in the screened porch with a cool drink, the choice is yours.
The double glass dining table and expansive kitchen bar provide comfortable seating for 11 people to enjoy a home cooked meal together. The Primary bedroom (The Executive Suite) is both attractive and private, furnished with a king size sleigh bed, matching oak night stands, task and overhead lighting, modern floor and two large windows. The inverted trey ceiling provides an interesting and spacious architectural feel to the en-suite. It includes a private bath with double vanity and a massive glass walk-in shower. There is plenty of storage including a triple dresser , bedside tables and a large walk-in closet. This room also includes a large flat screen television.
The second bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed, matching bedside tables, task and overhead lighting, large chest of drawers and a smart tV. The bedroom has 2 windows offering natural light and a view of the front yard. It is adjacent to the second full bath with a shower and large vanity area.
The third bedroom is perfect for teens and children desiring to have their own special place with six adult-sized twin beds. It’s perfect for a large family, 2 smaller families or team members visiting for Cheer Camp, Softball/Baseball championship games or just friends sharing a perfect beach vacation. The room is furnished with two triple level bunks. It has a flat screen smart tv and easy access to the second full bath.
