Be cautious about staying here!!! The staff is not very friendly at all. I called before making reservations to make sure there were private balconies because this is one of the most important things. My son has Asperger‘s. He doesn’t like being around many people but he loves sitting and just watching the ocean. We get there there are not private balconies at the hotel. Hotel guest can only use 1 of the 2 pools and the breakfast is not free, not even coffee. Ice isn’t even free here! My mom had a bad fall there and the staff wouldn’t even call for an ambulance or give me the address they said use my cell. Be careful! I couldn’t even walk out after dark without people whistling and yelling at me. Went out for a charger after dark and never felt so unsafe. Parking lot is dark and you have to walk down a dark street if you’re not in a parking spot by noon!!! Never again! And of course a manager was never available! If you’re on the 1st floor you can’t see the ocean because of the sand dunes, 2nd floor palm trees block your view! The Rusty Anchor was never open. The pool was decent but trash left everywhere from the day before. No housekeeping. However we did see the housecleaning crew on the floors cleaning check out rooms and they were nice!! They were the only ones. Front desks act like your a burden to even check in. Oh and check in can be anywhere from 4pm till midnight! Front desk always says the manager is out.

The bathroom and doors were filthy dirty, the room was very small , no vanity in the bathroom, the hotel put me on 1st floor no view room so we changed then he put me in a room facing parking lot then a room without private balcony then made me pay xtra for a private balcony, so i moved 3 times before i got settled in after driving 3 hrs and the room was disgusting

Terrible experience

Honestly don't know where to start. Checked out early it was so bad. There were three others behind me checking out early because of their experience as well. Their security has an attitude problem to say the least. List goes on and on. Stayed there many times but never again. You lost a life time customer.

We had a wonderful stay! There was only one staff guy that wasn’t too pleasant but everyone else seemed great! We loved Steve at the Boardwalk bar! He went above and beyond to get us the stuff to make us some Bushwacker drinks! Great location.

Bed was pretty worn in on one side and not very comfortable and It was verry easy to hear outside conversations. Other than that not your worst choice by any means. No bugs and the sheets where clean👍 p.s. to the uninformed, if you are under 25 you will be charged a "Damage Waiver" of 55$" unless someone older than that is present.

Front desk staff friendly but not all of them knowledgeable. Not terrible for what you pay for as far as rooms. The tv didn’t work and the rooms have seen better days (popcorn ceilings, textured walls). Our room is very dark and doesn’t offer a lot of natural light. If in a wheel chair or walker, there are stairs from the elevator to the rooms.

When we 1st got to the hotel they made us wait for another room because they double booked our room we rented. The is NO elevators to help get your suitcases or anything to your room. We were told the beds were queen and come to find out they were full size. And parking is VERY limited we couldnt find anywhere to park the last night we were there so we checked out early because the front staff didnt want to help they just kept saying thats not our problem. The AC unit barely worked same with the refrigerator.

Loved how it was really close to the beach but with my experience with the tub and toilet was not so great. Toilet would keep getting clogged and we would have to contact someone every so often. The tub at one point also got clogged after a 10 minute shower. Other than that it’s pretty convenient
