Excellent place to enjoy the bay and peaceful surroundings. I truly feel the property is under represented in the pictures. The insides newly updated and clean . The property is well kept and some of the prettiest morning and evening views. Especially those sunsets !!

Beautiful property!

This was a short notice work/family trip. My husband's band was in the area for a show so we decided to make a weekend of it. My son and family joined us and it couldn't have been a better choice! Even with four adults and two children it was plenty spacious! The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The sunsets were incredible and fishing right off the dock was the best! Extremely peaceful to be so convenient to everything! We will definitely be back!The only negative thing I can say is that the kitchen wasn't stocked as well as I would have liked (no coffee filters, pot holders, minimal pots and pans).

We enjoyed the beautiful house but the dock was not able to be used due to the water depth. We were looking to bring our boat to the doctor but we could not therefore had pay additional funds to leave it at emerald.

Awesome getaway

This unit is on my come back to list. It looks like this unit has been recently re-modeled, looks great, smelled good and everything worked. Large flat screen TV's in the LR and MBR. The bed in the Master Bedroom is huge, I'm 6'5 1/2 and that bed was perfect and the view from the master bedroom was awesome. We will be coming back to this one. I can't say I have any negative comments but if I may suggest a few things, one being the walk way from the front door to the carport needs to be redone or at the least leveled to prevent a trip hazard. Next would be to attach safety ropes to the pier, other than that the place is great. By the way the neighborhood was really quit at night no problems at all. Also during check out I tried securing the door but the code would not work, my guess is the it timed out so I just made sure the door was closed. Thank you for insuring my family and I had a good time..

FULL REVIEW

FULL REVIEW The host was good on communication prior and during our stay. We arrived to the property the grass was knee high and the outside trash can was almost full still not sure what day pickup is our trash for the whole week was still there when we left. Moving on to the house the inside was very clean and well keep however it was 82 deg. Inside the house thought maybe they just turned the AC on after several hours contacted host to let him know. there are 2 portable units in 2 of the rooms with all 3 running it was after midnight before it got below 80 this continues throughout the stay most days we were gone on the boat the whole day and coming back it was between 82 and 85 inside house FYI if you EVER have issues call VRBO as well as host. Warning host insinuated a partial refund during our stay and after the stay is completed and get paid from Vrbo he would no longer reply to messages also make sure booking matches the number of people staying they will use that for leverage on any possible refund. There was a small selection of pots and pans to cook with enough dishes and silverware for 8 people. The dock and back deck is nice and with the house being hot spent a lot of time out there we took our boat its 23ft and was able to get to dock during low and high tide however when tide is out standing on edge of boat you are still 4ft under dock very difficult to get on dock. The pictures don’t do it justice

My family and I absolutely loved this house. This house is very photogenic and absolutely beautiful sunsets. We enjoyed hanging out on the dock (we’re a lake family) so being able to be that close to the water was home for us. Loved being able to stand in the water at low tide and catch hermit crabs and snails. Very close to anything you need and traffic was great. It was easy to move around the city and get where you needed to go. If you’re a digital family Uber eats was quick and Walmart delivery was quick as well. The owner was easily accessible and answered quickly if there was a question. My only cons are of personal preference and should not sway anyone from staying here, we're already planning our next trip to the house. So cons, I wish there had been a table out on the deck for us to play cards or eat at. Seating area out front as well. Hand towels, I would have liked to have in the kitchen and the bathroom but I get it from a cleaning stand point. I would also have liked to see travel size amenities: shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste etc. we traveled 12 hours straight so didn’t bring it and that’s on us (Walmart delivery to the rescue). Again these were small personal things. I definitely think it would be cool if the host put out a guest book by the entry way. That way guests could write where they’re from, give advice on places that they saw or things that they did while there and to give ideas to what you may have not thought of.

Overall nice place

The place is quite nice and very clean and is close to just about any stores you would want. The sunset there is gorgeous. Overall enjoyed my stay but naturally there were a few gripes. First the parking is super tight, we had 2 trucks and a boat trailer and had to park trailer in the yard. We had some trouble on the way down and when we got there it was 1am and the door code didn't work. Luckily the host answered my second call and reset the lock. There was very little silverware (only 3 spoons lol) and no lamps in any room.. the garage is locked as well as the gate to the backyard. The biggest gripe (and this could change from season to season but the dock is super tall and no ladder so getting in and out of the boat was a huge pain. Plus the water was super shallow around it. There is a boat lift but his is on it... despite that i still enjoyed my stay 😄

Beatiful but minimal

This place was great, but i had to watch a video to be able to open the front door. No instructions given. The garage is off limits. The gate that goes to the back yard is locked. I brought a kayak so the garage being off limits and the gate being locked was very inconvienent. I had to carry a 12 foot kayak through the house. Very little silverware and plates. Okay enough with the bad. This location and area are great. The house was clean and the veiw was fantastic Beds were very confortable. Overall nice place. Wont rent again if we are bringing kayaks but would if not.

A Sanctuary

Stayed a few days for a getaway. It was perfect. The host was very involved of making sure everything was ok. The view of the water on the deck was very beautiful and peaceful. It was quiet and relaxing. I will most definitely try to stay here again when I’m in the area.
