The Black Bear Lodge condominiums by Abode Luxury Rentals are located in the heart of Deer Valley Resort's mid-mountain Silver Lake Village, just across the street from Silver Lake Lodge and a short 2 minute walk to the ski slopes. Black Bear Lodge embodies the rustic elegance of a mountain retreat with its log exterior and interior log accents. This bright and airy 2-bedroom/3-bath condo that sleeps 6, has been recently remodeled and features a full kitchen, dining area, and living room with gas stone fireplace. For our summer guests, this unit does not have air conditioning; however, a fan has been provided in each bedroom for your comfort.

This is a great property for a group of friends to enjoy on a weekend ski trip. Nestle into one of the bedrooms that include either a king, queen, set of twin bunk beds or queen sofa sleeper in the living room. Soak in the private hot tub after a long day on the slopes and watch as the snowcats groom the slopes for tomorrow's skiing.

Great Location - Great Place

Mid Mountain is definitely the place to stay. So easy to get anywhere on the slopes from there. Ski in-ski out was ideal and the concierge at the lift keeps skis overnight for free. Condo was nicely updated and super cozy. We hardly left once we made it back to the unit. Fireplace and hot tub were fantastic amenities!

Great mid mountain condo

Had a great time at this property for our family ski trip this year. Location was a short walk to Silver Lake lodge. Loved the private hot tub. Abode was a great property manager to work with. Big bonus was the crazy amount of snow!!!! Great family memories.

Great condo in a great location.

Our kids live in SLC so we decided to visit Deer Valley for the first time instead of taking our usual trip to Colorado. We loved Deer Valley and especially loved this condo and its location. We walked the short distance to the slope each day. The bus to Park City is so easy to catch just outside of the uint. Underground parking was wonderful. The only thing this condo was lacking was fresh powder for the slopes. :-) Adobe was a great company to work with. Will stay again for sure.

Our stay at Black Bear Lodge was outstanding. The unit was very clean, and the proximity to the slopes was fantastic. Abode’s communication was the best I have ever experienced from a property management group. There was ample shampoo/soap/towels. Not tiny little bottles that leave you wanting more. For the Silver Lake area, hard to find a better deal. Have the location of the great nearby hotels, but with a kitchen and laundry in your unit. The gift basket on our arrival was full of treats, and the beer, wine and frozen cookie dough were extra special. This was one of the best rental experiences we have ever had. And Abode sets a new standard for property management companies. They were truly the best.

Humble Abode

We are a family of 6 including 4 teenage boys ages 18, 17 and twin 13 year old’s. Two bedrooms and a sleeper couch provided amble sleeping arrangements. The boys all slept comfortably in the 2nd room with a king and twin bunks. Unit had 3 bathrooms and in-unit laundry that made a big difference. Great property and unit. Close to slopes. Property and unit were clean and well maintained. Hot tub on the outside deck of the unit was a real plus but the property also had a heated pool and hot tub. We even used the BBQ by the pool in the snow and it worked great. Abode has a first-come-first serve shuttle service that we took to town one snowy night and it was a lifesaver because although I had rented a vehicle one of the roads was closed due to an accident and our driver knew an alternative route and was able to get us to our dinner reservation on time as well as provide colorful stories about Deer Valley. Justin, the property manager was courteous and accommodated our needs to leave a pair of skis boxed for FedEx shipment in the lobby for pickup after we checked out – something he likely didn’t have to do. All the personnel we encountered at the property were friendly.

Great long weekend at Deer Valley

Had a wonderful long weekend in Black bear 152. The property was fantastic, great location, with a short walk to the slopes. We used the daily ski storage which made things even more convenient. The communication with the property managers was some of the best we have had , extremely pro-active and responsive. Also very helpful arranging airport transportation. Would definitely recommend the property and unit 152.
