The log exterior of Black Beat Lodge is reminiscent of the grand old lodges of the American West and is a favorite destination in Deer Valley Resort's Silver Lake Village. Located just across the street from the slopes, this unit features a fully equipped kitchen, living room with river rock gas fireplace, wireless internet access, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, and sleeps 6.

This beautiful and bright condo boasts log accents and ample windows to let plenty of sunlight in. Take advantage of your very own private hot tub located on the balcony, so you can soothe your tired muscles as you take in the views! Get cozy on the comfortable couches and warm up in front of the stone-encased fireplace which really gives the place a touch of rustic elegance and is an ideal spot for decompressing from a day of adventures.

Great Stay

Very well maintained apartment in great location at Black Bear Lodge, Deer Valley. Nice details included welcome snacks, coffee and wine. Management was responsive and helpful. Oh, and the skiing was great and east to get to!

Convenient Location and Helpful Property Managers

This unit is close to the slopes. Everything in the unit worked, including the hot tub and washer and dryer. Surprised that 2nd "bedroom" doesn't have a closet. Unit needs some TLC: Kitchen not well equipped, half of the dishes are chipped, handles on faucets need to be adjusted. Property managers were helpful, especially given that 2 out of 3 elevators were not working.

Comfy condo close to slopes

Great location in Silver Lake Village, with easy walk to base area. Condo features rustic lodge themed decor, good sized kitchen, private hot tub and nice big beds. We would stay in this unit again. Only downside was that both property elevators were not working during our stay which is a big hassle when staying on the third floor and having to climb stairs twice a day in ski boots, and carry luggage and groceries.

Bright and welcoming

Great location and warm, welcoming condo. Unusually bright condo for this facility with lots of natural light, ( we have stayed in 3 different locations at Black Bear) which was exceptional. Short walk to Silver Lake lifts. Only negative was the hot tub is two-person only due to size limitations of the porch. Everything else positive and we would definitely stay here again.

Room review

We had a very enjoyable stay. Proximity to the slopes was our key objective for skiing and it was very convenient to be able to walk up to silver lake each day. The unit was very clean and comfortable. We appreciated the concierge bringing us a Keurig machine for our coffee. The only minor negative was the noise from the people in the unit above us. It seemed as though they were always sulking around and dropping things on the floor, but they were generally quiet after about 10pm. Overall, we had a great stay and look forward to returning sometime soon.

Great Location for Skiing

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. We love Deer Valley mid mountain properties. They check-in process was fantastic, the property manager was very responsive to some of our needs while we stayed there like: cleaning the hot tub, bringing spices for cooking, and asking the neighbors above us to be more quiet. The proximity to the ski lift at mid-mountain was almost just as good as ski in ski out. We only had to walk maybe 100 yds and with the free ski valet at Deer Valley we could leave our skis and make the short walk in our boots back to the property to relax by the very warm fireplace. The only things this property could improve would be: the hot tub is very small, we understand the limited space with the small balcony but two people can barely fit, the kitchen and bathrooms could use an update. Overall however, the property was very clean and cozy and we did enjoy our stay over the holiday season.
