Deer Valley Black Bear 408 Penthouse is actually two units in one! It can be rented as one, giving you over 3,500 square feet of living space and accommodations for 22 guests, or each unit can be rented separately. This condo offers easy access to skiing in winter and hiking in summer. No matter your decision or needs, this is one of the most luxurious Deer Valley rentals available. Just remodeled and professionally decorated!

Unit A

Black Bear Lodge is located mid-mountain, in the heart of Deer Valley's Silver Lake Village - an easy walk to the Silver Lake Deer Valley ski lifts. This luxury condo has been remodeled and professionally decorated, and offers 1,300 square feet of space to comfortably sleep up to 10 guests.

Living Room: Mountain contemporary furnishings, hardwood floors, a soaring stone gas-assist fireplace, and a 55" 4K UHD Samsung Smart TV/4K Apple TV and 4K Blu-Ray DVD Player. There is an adjacent deck complete with a private hot tub and stunning Deer Valley Resort views.

Kitchen: Well equipped with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. You'll enjoy dining at the kitchen island, which seats four.

Dining Room: Adjoining dining area that can seat four people.

Bedrooms:
Master Bedroom 1 & 2- Offer King beds, 43" and 60” 4K UHD Samsung Smart TVs, and fully appointed bathrooms with jetted tub and shower combinations.
Loft- Queen bed, along with four twin beds. Additionally, the loft is equipped with a 60" 4K UHD Samsung Smart TV, complete with an Xbox One S gaming console, doubling as a DVD player.

Unit B

Black Bear Lodge is located mid-mountain, in the heart of Deer Valley's Silver Lake Village. It is an easy walk to the Silver Lake Deer Valley chair lifts. This luxury condo has been completely remodeled and professionally decorated, and offers 2,263 square feet that can comfortably sleep up to 12 guests.

Living Room: Spacious and offers comfortable mountain contemporary furnishings, a 60" JVC TV/Blu-Ray DVD player, gas-assist fireplace, and an additional conversation/game area. There is a wall of windows to take in the mountain views and natural light. You will also find a private deck with a hot tub and amazing Deer Valley Resort views.

Kitchen: Fully-equipped kitchen including; stainless steel high-end LG appliances, including a refrigerator, a five-burner gas stove, and double ovens. It also features lovely quartz countertops and a wonderful kitchen island with seating for two.

Dining Room: Adjoining dining area with seating for eight.

Bedrooms:
Master Bedroom 3- King bed, a 43" 4K UHD Samsung Smart TV, walk-in closet, and a master bath with dual sinks, jetted tub and separate tile shower.
Master Bedroom 4- King bed, a 60" 4K UHD Samsung Smart TV, and a well-appointed private bathroom with a jetted tub/shower combo and dual separate sinks.
Loft- Two Queens beds, one Full-size bed, and two Twin beds. There is also a 60" 4K UHD Samsung Smart TV and Xbox One S gaming system, which doubles as a DVD player, for your enjoyment.

Additional amenities include an in-unit washer and dryer in each unit for your convenience. The Penthouse (408 A-B) comes with three designated parking spaces in the heated underground garage, accessible by elevator. During the warmer months, guests' comfort will be enhanced by central air conditioning. The Black Bear community amenities include a heated pool, hot tub, BBQ grill with patio seating, and a fitness center.

Perfect place for a group of 14. Location is excellent and the cleanest property I have ever stayed at anywhere.

Great place and location

Had our family reunion here with 16 people from all over. The units were very well appointed and comfortable for all. Plenty of kitchen dishes and cookware, large beds for all, two living spaces, one for the kids and one for the adults. Hot tub and pool outside were very convenient and well used. The location and the bus stop right outside was so convenient. We've had 10 reunions and this was the most comfortable, reasonably priced and funnest we've had with all the activities available in the area! Cudos to the owner for helping us have wonderful memories. Highly recommended

Family Ski Trip

Property was pretty clean and in a good location. Parking was easy. One elevator not working on day of arrival. Had a defective humidifier. Hot tubs were buried in snow, and were slimy and smelly. clearly had not been treated. We called to have them shock the hot tubs for us, and it took a second phone call and more than 24 hours to get it treated, which means we missed another day of usage. Also, we had 10 people up in the lofts, and the pictures do NOT disclose the difficulty of getting to them. The stairs and ladder to get to each are UNSAFE and very difficult to get any luggage up, and people should be aware before they book these units. There is no direct access to any bathroom from the lofts, and it is a dangerous endeavor to go down either in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. Lastly, there is only ONE bedroom with an en suite bathroom in 408A - the write-up suggests all BRs have bathrooms. It was a good stay in general, but the units are not entirely as advertised.
