You have access to a shared outdoor area with a fenced communal pool and lifeguard (open in July and August; closed on Mondays for rest), free of charge for guests. The property is located in the Sierra Nevada National Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Nearby attractions include the scenic route along the Padules canals, the Fondón irrigation ditches, Laujar de Andarax with its famous nativity scene and hydroelectric plant, the Water Trail of Paterna del Río, and the GR140 long-distance hiking trail. The beach is 44 km away in Almerimar and 65 km from Cabo de Gata.
