I was unable to travel due to a medical situation requiring surgery, and although I booked a non-refundable rate, I reached out to both Expedia and the hotel well in advance to ask for help. Expedia genuinely tried to assist me, but their hands were tied because the hotel refused every request for flexibility. TRIBE Phuket Patong would not offer a refund, date change, or even a credit. The only option they gave me was to pay for an entirely new reservation upfront before they would consider canceling the original one — something extremely unreasonable during a medical emergency. I understand strict policies, but there should still be basic compassion for legitimate medical hardship. Because the hotel refused to work with me, I ended up losing the full amount for a stay I never used. I want future travelers to be aware that even with Expedia’s support, this property may not help you if an emergency occurs.

The decor and ambience was very cool. The breakfast buffest is very good it includes a omlette station and various indian and thai dishes including american waffles and pancakes. Let's not forget the juice bar! Amazing friendly and tenative staff!!

Nice new hotel. Good bed, tv and nice towels and linens. Manager (ChaCha) was helpful when she was brought in to resolve a problem….pity the staff don’t have greater autonomy to resolve issues. ‘Computer says no’ syndrome! Rooms needed more storage and bathrooms need a better light for those of us that shave. Use of clean my room door tag pointless they have a schedule, it gets done in their own time as opposed to whilst you are out of room.

Anniversary getaway

I recently stayed at Tribe Phuket Hotel for a Thailand holiday, and overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent — right in downtown Pa tong, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the beach and night life. The check-in process was smooth and the staff were polite and professional. Nay from receptionist was so helpful, make our check in and check out so smooth. Our Room was clean, spacious, and had a beautiful view of pool, The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the blackout curtains helped ensure a good night’s sleep. The highlight of the stay was definitely the pool and bar. It had amazing vibe and was a great spot to relax in the evenings. I can’t remember the bartender lady on Wednesday afternoon she so friendly and give the good vibe, she also made good cocktails. The breakfast buffet was also well-stocked with a good variety of hot and cold options. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for couples or business travelers looking for a modern, centrally located place to stay in Phuket. And being 2 months old hotels the management done wells.
