Stayed over Xmas holidays 2011, should have paid the extra and stayed at Whistler
Pros:Free Internet
Cons:not clean, poor quality
Would not recommend staying here. Lack of follow through by staff and management was very frustrating.
Overall rating for our family of 3 was Disappointing. Found they cut ever corner that they could and were not concerned about getting return guests as they have a huge feed from Whistler.
We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights over the holidays as we were planning to ski at Whistler.
Room: spacious 1 brm suite, kitchen facilities poor, very old and well used small appliances, microwave broken. ( Asked every day to get a replacement one, nothing was done)
Facilities: hot tub broken entire visit, kept getting different stories about timelines for repair, was broken well before xmas and not repaired by NYE. Pool was closed over visit for 1 night, electrical issue.
Service- poor, cleaning staff, do not clean kitchen (30.00), they charge extra per night for our daughter, but did not provide extra towels or other items required for additional person. Manager and staff gave lip service but no results.

Best hotel in town.
Cons:Beds need updating.
Like this hotel because it offers a good stay in Pemberton for less money than you pay in Whistler with most of the same amenities. Staff very friendly. Great outdoor hot tub that's open year round. No Cafe but there are good breakfast and dinner options a 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive away. Underground parking to keep your car clear of snow in the winter. My only suggestion is they could update the quality if thier beds a bit.

Nice hotel, but a few downsides
The hotel is nice and the room and bed were comfortable. Poor selection of channels and picture quality on the tv, our bathroom door needed some WD40 desperately, we were woken constantly by other guests closing doors and walking up and down the hall at all hours (poorly insulated walls and the doors were thin), but our biggest complaint was when we called and asked for a late check-out on a Thursday when the hotel was mostly empty. Normal check-out being 11am, we were doing a guided bear tour early in the morning and wanted to return to shower and change before attending a birthday party lunch at nearby Big Sky, but were told they just couldn't accommodate us checking out even 2 hours later by 1pm. Disappointing for sure. Though we'll probably stay here again because it is the nicer place in Pemberton.
