Set in the heart of the picturesque Eden Valley, this charming cottage offers fresh and airy accommodation perfect for walkers, hikers and nature spotters discovering a stunning corner of the Cumbrian countryside. The property lies in the quiet village of Newbiggin, with both Culgaith and Temple Sowerby within a couple of miles, each with a traditional pub. There is a village shop at Kirkbythore and also a BP garage where there is a small shop all within 1.5 to 2 miles. The tranquil walled gardens of Acorn Bank are less than 2 miles away, offering a serene haven surrounded by beautiful woodlands. To the west, the lively town of Penrith (8.5 miles) is home to Brougham Castle, Penrith Castle and the Rheged arts centre. The North Pennines National Landscape lies to the east (4 miles), offering rugged landscapes and far-reaching views. The Lake District is just south of Penrith, with highlights including Lowther Castle, Dalemain Mansion and the northern tip of Ullswater, all within 12 miles.
