This place was quite a surprise. It was beautifully furnished with all exquisite antiques, which I really enjoy looking at there. The hosts were very nice and it was just a great visit and at the end I found out that some of the antiques were available and purchased a few so that made the trip even better. I highly recommend this place and I donât do that too often.!
They had a pet and my dogs dont like other dogs it was not said in discreption of property. The was no locks on vedroom or bathroom doors. I wanted time alonle with spouse not sharing it with the home owner.
We stayed here for a couple of nights so my friend could meet and adopt my foster puppy. The beach and shopping was so close by. The neighborhood is so cute. We loved the rental space, especially the solarium! John and Bruce were so kind and welcoming it felt like staying with friends.
Very cute property! The older house has so much charm, especially with the antique decor. The sunroom is nice and you have private access to the dining room, bed, and bathroom. There are the usual amenities plus a small breakfast and coffee bar, which was a really nice touch. The room was private and reasonably quiet, though the house is located on a cross street which does stay a little busy. John met us right away even though I didn't give him a heads up for our arrival. He was kind and very polite. We got the short tour and a history of the building, including some dog-friendly suggestions around town. He was very quick to answer any communications via the app and flexible when our plans changed.
The host was great and room very cozy. There is a great German style Biergarten a Gelato place and a few other good eateries within a half mile so walking there and back was super easy. The WiFi was fast so getting some work done was a piece of cake. Would absolutely stay again.
Such a charming place! So thankful they are willing to share their historical home with rest of us. Very hospitable- the complimentary breakfast was a nice touch! The bed is also very comfy. Definitely will be back.
It was a peaceful and relaxing stay. We were there for a concert and the home was not far from downtown where we needed to go. A lot to do in Pensacola. The home was beautiful on a quiet street and great for a weekend getaway. Highly recommend.
We enjoyed our stay in this unique historic home. The bed was very comfortable, the host was friendly and helpful, and the complimentary breakfast foods were much appreciated. We had only one night, but would have stayed longer if we could.
This historic home is decorated with antiquities that adds charm and personality for a weary traveler. The amenities are thoughtful and considerate and the bedroom is cozy and comfortable! We truly enjoyed its restful ambiance. We will return again! Thank you, Bruce and John for your warmth and hospitality!
Previously lived in East Hill. When I come back for a visit I like to stay in East Hill. Close to downtown and quick trip to the beach. Clean and private even though in a home. No issues.
