About this space
Sandals and Friends is our attempt to provide a comfortable, pet friendly place to stay in Pensacola. The listing is new to VRBO but we are also listed on Abnb and have 5 star ratings! The master king bedroom has a private full bath. Another full bath is shared between a queen bedroom and an additional room with a daybed & trundle. Our home has a large fenced yard and is a great place for adults, children, or pets to have fun! We look forward to sharing our home with you. If bringing your pet, you must add them under where it says "GUESTS" when booking.
The space
There is a lighted patio in the backyard to relax in the evenings and a cozy front porch with chairs and swing for a nice morning coffee. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook a great meal. There is a charcoal grill just off of the kitchen door (which is located inside the secure fenced area). You will have high speed WIFI and on demand-instant hot water throughout the house. There are ceiling fans in each bedroom as well as the living room. We have also provided a portable fan. We provide 4 beach towels and 4 beach chairs to use during your stay. A Pack n Play and booster seat are available upon request. We are located in a quiet neighborhood close to downtown, hospitals, beach, and airport.

​A dog park is within walking distance with private water access.

- A six digit code will be provided prior to check-in after housekeeping has released the property.

PET RULES
- DOGS ONLY - Maximum of 2 dogs - up to 2 under 30 pounds - only 1 dog over
30 pounds, so you could bring 1 dog under 30 and 1 dog over 30 pounds
- Please clean up after your dog - bags and a garbage can are provided on the
back patio
- If dog poop is not picked up - you will be charged with extra cleaning
- Dogs need to be house trained
- If dogs are dirty or wet, please keep off beds and furniture
- If dogs tend to get on furniture, please put a towel or blanket under them. We provide some blankets
- Do not leave dogs outside unattended
- Do not chain or tie them up outside
- If you are going to be away from the house - please crate - we have all sizes
available upon request
- Please do not lock in bathroom - many dogs can ruin a door by scratching
when stressed
- We supply a handheld vacuum/or floor vacuum to keep up with shedding if
needed, this will help housekeeping as they get ready for the next guest,
especially when it is a back to back.

This house is fabulous - comfortable, welcoming and very well-maintained. The owners have thought of everything, especially for dog owners. Many thoughtful touches, and helpful information throughout. Just a great place to call home while in Pensacola. We stayed for 35 days, and loved every single one. And so did our doggo!

We rented this house after reading the reviews of repeat renters. Upon arrival, we knew exactly why so many people return. The house is nice in the pictures, but even better in person. It is simply adorable, clean, and very well organized. The host is very responsive and thoughtful. The attention to detail and the little extras make it feel almost like home. Even the pup was well provided for. We were in town for a graduation, and the house was in a very convenient location for both the event and the beach. The neighborhood is quiet, and the porch is just right for a morning cup of coffee. We, too, are planning our return for our next graduate, if not before.

We loved our quaint little bungalow tucked away in East Hill. It was conveniently located and perfect for our family vaca. The backyard was spacious and well manicured which made for one happy pup! All accommodations were thought of and labels provided clear instructions throughout the home. The neighborhood was peaceful and evening strolls to the waterfront were relaxing. The best part was how immaculate the place was. Thanks to Sandels and fam for making it a great vacation!

Amazing trip !!

Loved this property, so clean!! The home is in a beautiful neighborhood and the property is very clean, very comfortable you really feel at home. We do a lot of traveling and this home by far was one of the nicest ones we've stayed at. The beds are super comfortable definitely a plus for us. The host was amazing very helpful and prompt. This gets my 5 star ratings We have family in Pensacola so this has definitely become our go to when we go to visit. Thank you Ken! Great job,great property great experience!!

This was our first VRBO experience and the Sandals house exceeded our expectations. We came to visit our son at the naval base in Milton but preferred more central location, closer to Pensacola, so we found this house when we saw all the excellent reviews. The house was in the upscale East Hills neighborhood; clean, safe and a 7-min walk from a gorgeous waterfront park (and dog beach). The host, Ken, was very communicative and was quick to respond to our messages. The home was very clean, cute and had all the amenities of our own home that we could need. We enjoyed coffee on the front porch in the morning and dinner on the cute patio in back at night. We didn’t have our dog with us, but joked that we should have gone and borrowed one for the week since the house had every amenity a dog could possibly want. Can’t wait to return again for another stay. Thank you!

Charming

The bungalow is charming as is the neighborhood. The backyard is great for a dog. The manager is on the spot to deal with any problems. Very personable fellow. This is a lovely spot close to parks, the bridge to the beach and the downtown area.

Family Memorial Service

We have been back in Texas for several days now, and I have told my family, “I miss the porch!” I actually grew up in East Hill, and the home of my childhood had a porch with a swing on it. This Bungalow was a great blend of updated, but the character of the ‘older’ house was preserved. It was the perfect location for family and friends to visit together while we were all back in Pensacola for a memorial service of a loved one.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is lovely and has everything you may need. Very clean and well kept. The area is nice and close to downtown and lots of good restaurants. Cute neighborhood and friendly neighbors. Ken is an exceptional host! He is kind and makes sure his guests are comfortable and have what they need. Excellent communication and responsiveness. Ken is a Great Host

My husband and I had a fantastic time in Pensacola exploring the East Hill area rather than the usual beach scenario, although the beach was easy to access. Our host Ken was always contactable and he made sure we had everything we needed including bikes to cruise the nice quiet neighborhood. The bungalow was very charming, clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The location allowed us to quickly access shopping, downtown activities and the Navy base. We wouldn't change a thing. Thanks for everything Ken and thanks for making the place dog friendly. Hope to take advantage of this home in the near future.

Best I have stayed in!!

I have stayed at a lot of VRBO properties. This one blew my socks off. The hosts literally thought of anything anyone could have needed. So very well appointed! The beds were super comfy and sheets soft. Quiet neighborhood and charming backyard sanctuary. Inside as cute as a button and layout was perfect for me, my 10 YO daughter and parents as we waited out Hurricane Milton. Perfect for me to work remotely while my family relaxed. When they say dog friendly they mean it! And only like 15 minutes to the beach. The hosts were kind and proactive with communication. If I could give 10 stars I would. Highly recommend!!
