This property was horrible! I wouldn't even give this property 1 star. When we arrived, we were given a room with 1 bed and a pullout sofa. I told my husband we booked a 2 bed room. He left to get a different room. At that point, my kids and I discovered there wasn't an active smoke detector over the bed- just the wires hanging down. We also noticed the bathroom door had a huge bar on it. We could not close the door. Upon looking closer, we noticed the door was off the hinge and the staff put the bar on the door so the guest could literally lift up one end of the door to drag it shut, My daughter then discovered a dirty sock in the nightstand drawer in the bedroom. My husband returned and said that we were unable to move because the hotel was sold out. Nope, not ok. We started showing him all the problems and it was at this point we noticed the mirror behind the bedroom door was filthy with handprints and smudges all over the bottom half. My husband went back downstairs to talk to the front desk clerk. We told him there was no way we would stay in that room. After a few minutes, the clerk offered him another room (same style with 1 bed & a pullout sofa) down the hall. It was late, so we figured we would check it out. Upon walking in, I noticed the fridge looked tinted dark. It wasn't the coloring, it had a massive stain down the front of it! This hotel was a pigsty & I wouldn't even recommend it to an enemy!!

This was such a disappointing experience. I think is the area, I'm convinced they just don't care in Peoria. The hotel has potential, but the staff and management clearly do the minimum for this property. Deep cleaning is needed and not prioritized. The staff are in need of customer service training in hospitality. That was definitely not displayed, they all struggled to acknowledge the guests presence by saying hello, good morning and/or good evening, they struggle to be present at the front desk. It was pretty sad to see.

We booked this room to use the HEATED pool and hot tub for my daughters birthday weekend with her friends. Upon check in I was informed that there would be an extra amount added on if the hotel felt I was "having a party" which was far from what was happening, but said information should be ON THE WEBSITE before booking. After check in, it took 4 times going back to the desk to get our keys situated (the employees even complained about the key system). During our stay we had to get the keys redone at least 3 more times. The keys also didnt work on ANY of the outside doors which is very dangerous and unacceptable for patrons to be able to get in and out of the building when they need. The employees were pleasant and helpful, but that also doesnt make up for the fact that we got the room for the pool and amenities and the pool was so cold everyones lips turned blue within 5 minutes of swimming and the hot tub was out of order. So all in all, my kid had a pretty disappointing birthday. I don't recommend this hotel unless you just need a place to sleep and expect to spend more time working to get into your room then just being a guest.

I arrived early, 1:30, was told before i even got into the door that i couldn't check in until 3, started walking away, manager who yold me this was standing outside laughing. came back at 3, roomvnot ready, waited 3 1/2 hrs to check in, missed my VIP event $200.00 ticket....waiting to check in...sent my kids to the event without me so i could wait for the room. the main event was in progress when i finally got my room....I wasn't the only person waiting for a room 4 others were waiting. I booked this 3 months ago..how the hell was this room not ready?!? The general manager Cindy was there. she didn't do a damn thing, sat on yhe phone inthe office...should have cleaned the rooms herself if they were that far behind. instead she left at 5pm..God forbid she take her job serious! The manager also left at 4pm. poor receptionist was left to handle a cluster of pissed off customers. GM should be fired or rethink her commitment. Nicole should be given the purple heart for taking the brunt of the mess that was left for her to deal with. I worked property management for 5 years.....never did i leave my staff in desperate situations. Gm and manager should have been cleaning toilets and changing bedding to get people situated....but they chose to walk out....

When checking in hotel told us we did not have a room because they were overbooked. We reserved the room 2 months prior and had our confirmation number and paid. Hotel blamed Travelocity for not ensuring enough rooms. The staff said that any third party bookings were not guaranteed and it was on us to ensure we actually had a room. I've never had an issue like this before with Travelocity. After contacting Travelocity and speaking with a manager of hotel they were suddenly able to find a room for us. Staff was friendly enough and worked with us but was dressed very casual and did not appear professional looking. They blamed the third party bookers and yet seemed to contradict themselves when we were trying to figure out where the breakdown in communication happened. We chose this hotel because of being so close to the Civic Center and while we did get a room, in the end, it was not the room I booked and the other couple with us had to sleep on a very poor pull out bed instead of having a double room like I reserved. I will NOT come back to this hotel in the future.

We got a 1 bed room instead of the 2 bed room we reserved. Indoor pool was closed. Keycard wouldnt work on our door. Tiles missing from bathroom floor.

My room had roaches and mice and i got bitten by buugs i got charged for days i wasnt even there and over charged by them misuing of debit card..they are under a new owner place very unkept she lets her pitiful roam free

Property is fine, but few items stood out. There was a dead bug in the bathroom, fairly clean otherwise. Breakfast was better than other hotels. Staff was good, friendly, quick to respond to request such as batteries for remote. Breakfast stay was very nice and made my wife/kids feel very comfortable.
